Honestly, I may not be a Cyberpunk fan, but from what I’ve been told about his lore, they used Adam Smasher GROSSLY wrongly in this game. Your idea would’ve made this game a billion times better and more interesting. Also from what I’ve heard, the anime used him pretty well. Arasaka and the five other mega corps of nightcity were able to crush most of the gangs in night city when ncpd weren't able to do shit to them for decades. And Maxtac is part of ncpd. For political reasons, they're also just equipped with militech gear. But that's about it, they're speciality is they can deal with highly augmented individuals. However they don't compare to the might of the mega corps. Not even as an afterthought to them.

I wish stuff like this happened in the game. I really wanted smasher to be a Mr.x or nemesis for V. Instead of drones chasing you from arasaka tower it's smasher in a hover carrier. Smasher pursuits you through the building while Hanako is evacuated. He keeps bursting through walls and ceilings as you try to get out. Never forget that everyone thinks you kill Saburo. Yorinobu should be sicking smasher on you constantly
