I just clean it with a sponge and soap and rinse with water only rinsing the inside with a squeeze bottle over the sink. Just hold the waffle maker at an angle.

Let it cool slightly but still perform the cleaning while it's warm. I used to have a Black and Decker unit that I just loved, and was concerned when we had to replace it that I might not find one that I like just as much. This one does it for me.
When still hot, I use a slightly wet scrub brush, (scrub fast so the brush doesn’t melt), and I get into the grooves all over the whole thing. Then I steam it with a damp paper towel after. Works awesome and it is much faster!!

Thank you for sharing ❤ just found your videos. Love your presence. I would suggest the use of either vodka or rubbing alcohol to disinfect the inside. No residue is left inside and it won't corrode the coding. It really needs to be disinfected against raw meats and eggs.
Excellent idea. They should have made the grill plates removable!! I am afraid of getting water on the cord or a place it shouldn’t be. I don’t want to get zapped.
I have a Dash Mini Waffle Maker A Dash Ice Cream Maker And a Dash Popcorn Maker the waffle make i got for my Birthday and the other 2 i got for Christmas i also have that Aqu One too

I’d probably use a little tiny bit of white vinegar and warm water to get the oil off the outside and keep it nontoxic all over. 😉
