Sad to see the demise of the V6, a great engine from Toyota.

I wonder how this will compare with the upcoming Mazda CX 90. With in-line 6 sending power to the rear, the CX 90 sounds like it will be fun and Mazda hasn't been too shabby in its handling either. Maybe just a stretch to see Mazda in the same class as the Lexus.

Although the exterior & interior have been redesigned from scratch the power train is a borrowed from a Toyota Camry so it’s actually a Camry in a suit lifted off the ground, wound rather buy & stick to the outgoing v6 RX

The interior is a mess and is about two generations behind the Europeans and South Koreans.
Far too messy with a mix of colours and textures. A base model Kia or Hyundai look far more luxurious.

The Rx is overpriced in Australia. With the base model plus on road costs exceeding 100K, it lacks certain features expected of a luxury car , like surround camera views, which are readily available in cheaper mass market cars. Furthermore, the higher trim RXs are priced in close proximity to their German competitors. This begs the question: why would someone choose an Rx over a slightly more expensive BMW X5? It's no surprise that most RXs on the road are base models. In order to maintain their position in the market, Lexus needs to enhance their value proposition and technological offerings, or consider adjusting their pricing to avoid losing their traditional market to the increasingly popular, better value and sharply priced Korean and Chinese brands.

I’m surprised to see that the RX350 costs way more than the 350h. In US/Canada the base model is the RX350 and the 350h is a couple thousand more.

Haven’t seen a real one yet, but somehow from the video it doesn’t look like a “Large SUV”

Amazing that vast majority of the review was done in the car while driving in the highway, how can you memorise all those line and presenting them in a calm and professional way, while ensuring focus on the road for safety?

It should have wireless charging and 7.8L/100km is too high.

@@Hydrnaught So, does this mean I can ask you to get stuff off high shelves for me? It's a handy skill I unfortunately lack! 😄

The RX450h+ is the one to get

It'll be a while before we see the RX450h+ plug-in hybrid in Australia. Lexus tells us it is coming, but it may not arrive here until late 2023 or early 2024.
