Wish they’d hidden a tweezer or pick in the scissor handle like the Roxon. Love that!
I absolutely think knife scales as well as tools should include these
Pretty cool. But I really don't understand why every small multi-tool like this has to have a normal knife blade in addition to the replaceable one. It would be so easy to make a travel-safe version that is just as useful.
Yeah I'm going to be looking at replacing the main blade with something less sharp...
A folding plier tool to replace the main blade would be nice for travel carry
Yeah I doubt they’d let me on a plane even with the scissors but I’d rather have an awl or even a very small saw than an extra blade.
Not me buying this just to rip out the knife and pop in some spacers to carry it anywhere
Good day friend, NexTool have new TSA version, which with pliers and without knife. This new multitool would lauched on May, you can follow to check if you are interested.
Just got mine today, and I'm already really pleased with it. It feels a lot better made than I expected, and all the tools seem pretty useful. Also appreciate it's size, very easy to attach/drop in to my bag
@@KatAisling Good to hear that!
Asian market is on fire with those multitools (Roxon, nextool, rocktol)… hopefully it pushes the big names of multitools to innovate more!
Thanks for the review, just ordered one. I never use paracord so my go to test for multitool scissors is 50lb rated zip tie.
Thx for the review…like this one 👍🏽
Very impressive little multitool there, I'm a big fan of the exchangable Leatherman bit driver and the fact it's non locking makes it perfect for UK EDC. I will be grabbing one of these for sure, cheers for bringing it to my attentiton!
Great you guys can have another tool to use over there!
Like the look of it 👍Like you, I am one of those trendy types who actually likes the Gerber lockdown drive - I just find it very handy. This is definitely an upgrade because it's more compact, has more tools and the scissors look very useful. So..... I just ordered two of them. A curse upon thee for feeding my addiction!! 😭😂
LoL!!
I recently acquired one of these for around $19 and I have to say I am very impressed, the tool is good quality, very functional and a complete bargain - cheers again for the recommendation.
Glad you like it!
Congratulations on 11,000 subscribers! I like this pocket tool. On the craft blade the locking mechanism or sleeve is the same on the GOAT multitool. Very slick to take out the craft blade and put it back in. The scissors remind me of Roxon. I like the Leatherman folding scissors, some of the scissors are too big in proportion of the tool itself. I personally don't know; I don't have a Roxon or Nextool but the look pretty big on screen.
Thanks! I think you're right this craft blade is similar to the Goat!
The Gerber also uses the Leatherman flat bits. Any 1/4” bit driver will use Leatherman flat bits. All you need to do is check the length.
That looks perfect for a pocket, nice size and comfortable plus is legal for an EDC here in the land of the oppressed. I just ordered one from Ali Exp for £10.80 / $12.50 shipping included, if what turns up is what I ordered then happy days, thanks for the heads up 👍
Glad to help!
Mine came this morning, way ahead of their predicted date, its a nice little thing and perfect for slipping in a pocket if you go out for the night.
I notice your 'scraper' is flat on both sides, mine has a chisel like chamfer on one side so making the edge fairly sharp, I agree about the file, mine is pretty useless on both sides, maybe I can adapt it into a more useful tool. The hobby blade is lethaly sharp and hard to get out as you mention, understandably so.
All in all im very happy with it, especially the bargain price so thanks once again 👍
Mine should be here any day, I use hobby knives a lot
I like this one!
Sadly enough I tried the 711L ratchet and it doesn't fit. It's just too thick for the mechanism. It goes in a tiny bit but it just falls out. I wonder if another Leatherman adapter or say an Amazon adapter fits. Not sure if there is a thin adapter out there or which of them is the thinnest. There's 3 or so I've seen on Amazon.
The nearly flat side of the file might do nicely as a nail file.
I saw it on Aliexpress it's quite intersting with hobby knife.
Hi. It would be helpful if you could let us know the dimensions of the tool when closed. I am particularly interested in the thickness, excluding the pocket clip. Thanks.
Hello friend, the closed size is 79*25*19mm, which would lauched at the beginning of May earliest, you can follow and buy when it available, hoping you enjoy the wonderful day.
Have order one 👍
What happen to cutting the cardboard with the scissors? It couldn’t cut it?
Amazing 👏 🎉❤, get rid of blade and put a reamer awl...very similar to SAK mountaineer
I choose the mini flagship over this.
cool❤❤
best small multi tool i used is nextool mini sailor
Is the hobby blade a #11?
Good question. Yes it is a #11 blade.
Thanks @@hvacbudget8600
no ring to use it on a key ring ?
I don't see one.
Good day friend, NexTool pocket tool E1 with pocket clip, and no keyring.
Can the multi tool be easily disassembled?
Not sure about that. I haven't tried that yet.
@@hvacbudget8600 Thanks for replying
ok I wondered about removing the blade for travel possible replacing it.
Why can they not make the driver locking
Not sure. maybe cost more.
They were so close to a “TSA safe” multitool and they threw it away on a mediocre knife blade. Why are multitool many so afraid of a baseless tool? It wouldn’t even we baseless with the craft knife that you can get replacement blades for.
Hello friend, NexTool have new version of NexTool mini sailor without blade, just follow us and you can find it is easy to carry when fly.
I really wish Multitools didn't have knives. If it just had the hobby knife with the removable blade would be great. If I can carry a knife, I am going to carry a separate knife, but it would be great if I could carry the Multitool on a plane by just removing the hobby knife head, but of course they added a dumb knife that I would never use.
The Roxon Flex, Goat multi tool are your options right now with the blameless rebar and mp600. But maxlevel edc has a video about a new Nextool mini sailor coming out with no blade airplane legal.
@@hvacbudget8600 The Roxon Flex and the Goat Multi are too big for me to be "Every Day" carry. A Travel Nextool Mini Sailor could be interesting.
@@AllFouRoux Hi friend, we may would lauched the mini sailor Lite on May, you can follow and check does it match your requirement or not.
The non-locking bit driver and tools are a deal-breaker for me unfortunately.
This tool looks like an absolute winner. Sadly for me, a microdriver and tweezers are essential for my needs. Maybe one day I'll find something that can beat the Compact...
Check roxon ks2
Check roxon ks2
Check the roxon KS2
@@blade9292I like the KS2, but the lack of an eyeglasses size driver makes it not work for me. The closest I've found to a replacement is the Roxon M3, but even that lacks a dedicated onboard flathead. Still, I might get one and grid the can opener down into one.
@@fg63-6 you might try using the correct size with 4mm bits it's a valid option too
4mm is near as widespread as the 6.35mm stuff.
Although I haven't tried double side bits with the roxon adapter. But as far as individual bits. You should be able to get what you want.
It a Roxon clone but cheaper
You know Roxon made it when it starts to get cloned 😂
@@ToolTechGeekIndeed ! :D
Lose the useless knife and file and this may be a winner!
