I think this is the best clone yet from the looks of it. It has the pocket clip unlike other clones and it got the leatherman style plier. If I didn’t already have an arc and I was in the market this would definitely be at the top of my list. It has everything.
Wow. A new one already. I like the Scissors being on the outside vs the SHALL version… this is a well thought out Clone 👍🏽 Thanks for the Review as always
Mr. Kincaid, I'm just going to say the GOAT multitool is my favorite for a foreign manufacturer. I'm impressed with the overall quality, fit and finish. It's also an original design which for me makes it so much more appealing. Is it perfect no, but its a good tool that deserves way more recognition and credit than people are giving it. I'm very happy with my purchase. It sits beside my Leatherman ARC. Both are impressive to me. I like to tinker, with the GOAT. It has been a fun and enjoyable multitool to have. GOAT is currently my second favorite manufacturer to my trusty, time tested Leatherman Tools.
@@edwardfletcher7790 i didnt get the GOAT due to the squarish design. Anyway, i dont like the idea of modding the plier head to fix the cutting issue. To me its already a failure
@@edwardfletcher7790 I like the GOAT multitool for light to medium duty use. I don't think any multitool is heavy duty and designed to be "bulletproof". If you have to wear gloves, you're exerting too much torque or bearing down on the tool too much. I don't wear gloves and the "craft blade" stays in place without partially deploying with slightly tightening the hex fastener. Everyone one is different and for me I like the GOAT and preordered the Roxon Flex too. Thank you for the comment.
thanks for showing- I had an occasion yesterday to use my old leatherman charge. It still works and has a great tool set. I sent it in for warranty to leatherman because of its stilffness. It came back to me unchanged w/o explanation. Anyway, yesterday i was wishing yesterday, that I had a smoother tool and one that had spring loaded pliers. I have lost track of the choices because there are now so many. Do you have a non leatherman reccomendation for a full size tool?
This one and the SQT titanium version are very good in the 4" frame size. The Bibury 37 in 1 on Amazon is one of my favorite options in the 4.5" frame size.
Contemplating between the SQT 2048 and Leatherman Free P4. I prefer a multitool that's slim and light. The LM Free P4 is far more expensive than the SQT2048 and I wonder if it's worth the huge difference. Will only use the tool occasionally. I'll appreciate inputs on what to get. Thanks!
This seems like a P4 with better tools and no magnets that will get full of metal while I work in the shop. Not to mention it’s less than $50. Definitely getting this just to see if it can compete with leatherman.
They should design the pocket clip so that the side of its attachment can be changed. Personally, I much prefer the attachment on the other side, as it is in my Free P2.
Totally against Chinese clones, it’s stealing designs. But if it wakes up Tim Leatherman and he realizes where the blue collar multitool purchasers may have gone……? He could step up his steel quality and set himself apart or lower prices.
I have a sidekick that I've modified for tree work. I turned the useless saw into a scraper/chisel and I modified the key ring and can opener so it's a solid file holder. Id call it a must-have at this point. P.s. who was the guy who came up on anything, ever, and decided that a 2.5 inch saw would be the tool for the job? Fire that clown.
Hey ya can’t knock these other companies for trying to make a competitor to Leatherman. The surge is my baby, I rolled with the wave for a few years, then got a surge, now carry it daily.
To this day, I still think that the Surge is the best overall multi tool available. Right up close to it is the Victorinox swiss tool, not to be confused with the spirit which is also good. Just my opinion. 😀
I love my leathermans but they have gone completely crazy with the prices they charge it’s just insulting, I bought the leatherman wingman for $30 $40 dollars on clearance at Walmart years ago luckily I bought 4 and gave one away as a gift, now I couldn’t even get one for that much so if this works out I can ill buy a few more of these since I use a leatherman at work and every day but I have the leatherman charge+ but I’m so scared I’m going to lose it and it’s not that much better then my wingman
Your android or iPhone you're using right now is China. But a Chinese tool is no good?? It doesn't matter where it's made. It matters about the materials used.

It is really good!
The wire cutters didn't break, so they already beat Leatherman. 😂
LoL!
@@hvacbudget8600Great video as usual 👍 Your mic is strangely muffled though, mebbe caught under the collar of your jacket ?
@edwardfletcher7790 Goid info thanks!
@@hvacbudget8600Oh, a small 3x1mm AliExpress magnet fixes the bit retention problem.
Looks like a suitable replacement for my Gerber NXT suspension.
5:10 You can put a small magnet inside the handle. Some people use magnet from broken earphones.
Probably.

It definitely is cool the story behind both companies!
The GOAT has a serious ergonomics problem unless you wear gloves.
The Roxon Flex kills it too.

@hvacbudget8600 , I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback! Great review btw.
Did you ever got around reviewing those knipex knockoffs small pliers?
Good question. I think so, but I could do a short video on it tonight.

I agree, they have so much value!
Hello, which one is better quality SQT, FLISSA or BIBURY?

I don't think they will lower the prices BUT there should be zero defects and issues with the price they are asking for especially the Arc.
This or dai camping dl30? This Is the question..

Does anyone know what wire cutters fit this multitool? Will leatherman replacement wire cutters work?
@@globofgreen No they won't. I believe most daicamping, Bibury, flissa etc cutters work.

too many clones.
One of us, one of us.

Not interested in anything made in china when I can buy it from the USA😊
Just curious, where is your android or iPhone made? Where are your appliances made? Where is your flat screen TV made?
I think I still like the Swisstech 18 in 1 better .
