I know the start is loud but it seems to quiet right down. Is that part as quiet as it seems? Also I take it there are no codes thrown? I think it sounds great but over a phone on TH-cam is not the same as being there.
I have a Borla S-Type on my Silverado. Sounds ok but I wish it had a more low frequency growl - I miss having some cabin noise. What effect do you think I would get by deleting the resonator?
Having a really hard time removing the bolt that connects the catback to the the Cat itself...Do you have any tips/suggestions to remove it? I'd prefer to take the whole catback out to cut/weld rather than welding underneath the truck
That sounds pretty good! Maybe do some gopro footage mounted near tip just driving around and in cab recording so we can here what its like under normal driving
Ahh sounds beautiful. I have a flowmaster super 10 on my 06 ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. I have a cai, exhaust and short tube headers. City driving is really nice when all the buildings reflect the sound. Love the videos, Nick! Excited to see what else you do.
FixItNick tbh im not sure why it would kick down to 4 cylinders more now. Could possible just be more noticeable now. I know it was more noticeable on truck as it sounded like a really crappy exhaust brake haha. If you drive it in tow/haul mode(if you have it) it should keep your truck from going into 4 cylinders.
Tough to cam the newer trucks equipped with AFM. It can be done but you basically have to replace the whole valve train with non-AFM components. Expensive.
Let us know how it goes and how you like it! I have the 6.2 4x4 and really want to tuck my exhaust up a little more. That resonator in the rear messes everything up. I'd just like to remove it to give me more room. I wonder what effects it will have? I thought it was to eliminate drone in the cab.
Avid James basically somehow having muffler deletes leads to street racing so go cut down on street racing they made a bunch of street racing related stuff illegal
Muffler and Resonator delete doesn’t effect emissions so cops don’t care much about it if it sounds loud, unless crazy annoying loud,... I just home I’m not to loud now haha

It’s a Lincoln 135, always wanted a 220 but my wiring in garage sucks, sometimes even 135 surges booo
