One of my favorite things about Gav's music is how he reuses and remixes elements between songs about the same franchise. It creates a nice consistency between them and kinda makes them a commentary on each other. This one seems to have even more reused elements than average:
--- "Flawless has no face, rightness has no race" vs. "*See that* flawless has no face, *learn that* rightness has no race"
--- *preceded by* "Resist, remain" vs. *followed by* "Reclaim, reconcile"
--- "Hope is an ember in the dust, spark of resistance will combust" vs. "Hope is a burning fusion, spark of a revolution"
Probably more, but I love this part.
Really greate song. And the mentions of the TNO song are just great. as example "Hope is an ember in the dust - spark of resistance will combust" from TNO became "Hope is a burning fusion - spark of a revolution" in this song. just amazing!

I love how the callbacks to the first Wolfenstein song are handled. They're there, and easy to see if you're familiar with both songs, but the context makes the callbacks fit the new song so much better.
Gavin must simply be an ubermensch. It's amazing how he can continue to pump out song after song while still maintaining such a sky-high standard of quality.

Epic as always Gav! Got chills at the throwback to Resistance. "Flawless has no face. Resist. Remain. Rightness has no race!" Those words have always resonated with me since I first listened to Resistance. Please keep making epic music!

its not really that sadistic, trust me, can be if u want it to be, meaning playing being as an assassin and being stealthy backstabbing every nazi in silence, then u have the gore, the little axe can make a lot of gore, but mostly is shooting and thats not that gory, well messy but not really that bloodfest, if i compare lets say with evil within 2, that game is a lot nastier, exploding skulls body entrails etc. bla bla bla, here what i max saw was well decapitation. Im telling u there is no more satisfying feeling then kicking a nazi right in the middle of them legs, namely balls and seeing as he crumbles to the floor, of course u kill him before he hit the floor :), anyway, i dont think this game is that bloody, but it is exactly as it should be, the right amount for me

I love how you used clenching fists as the core of the song. It is a very simple move that can be used in the face of very simple things if that thing means very much to the person. Like, you may need to clench your fists when you're talking to your crush but you may also do that in the face of Armageddon. Thus making it a very relatable feeling for pretty much everyone. Great lyrics, man. *applauds*

Brilliant, Gav. Love the callbacks to Resistance, with "flawless has no face" and "rightness has no race" along with the "We're lighting up the embers/We're rising from the dust" calling back to "Hope is an ember in the dust". I have to say that I prefer Resistance, but that's only because I've spent 3 years listening to it.

So when this popped up on my feed, I was in the middle of collecting everything in The New Colossus. Being slow and boring things that they are, I'd sped up the collectible videos to 1.25x speed... and didn't realize that I'd listened to this song for the first time at said speed ever since today, when I came back to listen once more. I'm honestly not sure whether I like it faster or not, but either way, great song!
