BEST Sci-fi movie in years! Charlie Hunnam is an awesome actor, can't wait for Pacific Rim 2 and/or Pacific Rim/Godzilla crossover from Legendary films!
Godzilla fought King Kong once. And Guillermo del Toro has stated he'd be happy to have a Pacific Rim/Godzilla Crossover. So I'd say there's a good chance it'll happen one day.
My only problem with Pacific Rim is that Cherno Alpha and its crew didn't get more screentime/backstory/anything - they were by far the most badass of all the crews and Jaegers ;D
I know right? Due to time constraints, Cherno and Crimson were pretty much introduced and then killed off to suit the needs of the films plot. I wish that, instead of flash backs and scenes of the rather boring two dimensional protagonists sparring, the director could have given the other crews more screen time, both in and outside of their jaegers
Callan Shalders yeah, you'd have thought they'd have been a bit more important, what with the 4 Jaegers being the last line of defense for all of humanity :D
So true. Chernos design is beyond badass and the team is exactly how you imagine the grumpy siberian stereotype. Not to mention they almost whooped Otachis ass in a Mark 1 jeager. Thats quite the milestone
1): Kaiju blood is toxic and spilling it in a populated city is a bad idea. There are ways of decontaminating the area of course but response teams are too slow. That's why most Jaegers try to kill Kaijus with concussive blows. 2): Pacific Rim was a movie made as much as a thing meant to stand on its own as an homage to other giant monster movies. The corny acting and lack of logic in many instances are here for a reason. People often seem to make the mistake of taking that movie waaaaaaay too seriously. It's a spectacle, when watching it put logic and thought to one side for a bit and enjoy the epic ride.
Love the song, the video makes me want to watch the movie despite all of the warnings from my friends. I especially love how the music feels like it's walking along like a Jaeger.
Hawt Dawg i thought it was good, probably one of the best movies of the year so far! Cause sometimes you just need a movie about giant robots beating the shit outta giant monsters.
Hawt Dawg I really don't care about how many plot holes are in it. It's kinda like JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, absolutely filled to the brim with plotholes, but it's still pretty good cause you can't be arsed to look for said plot holes

Literally me every time Pacific Rim comes up xD
It does now. It's called Pacific Rim Uprising
@@aprilcrook1087 Nope, that movie does not exist!
@@aprilcrook1087 does a piece of shit is called a film?
@@Ivy-qc6kg I personally liked the sequel.
Really big fan of this movie, And the song you made for it can not be done better :)
Awesome song for a severely under rated movie
Will the new Godzilla movie tie in with Pacific rim? THAT WOULD BE AWSOME.
nope
If only, If only. GET ON IT HOLLYWOOD!
Godzilla fought King Kong once. And Guillermo del Toro has stated he'd be happy to have a Pacific Rim/Godzilla Crossover. So I'd say there's a good chance it'll happen one day.
Adrian Ortega Pacific rim 2, godzilla final boss
MrFreakierTruth No no no. The Jagers and Godzilla have to team up to take down King Ghidora!
Pacific rim 2 - Tony Stark kinda dude with a Megazord 2 times the size of Bot,remote controlled against the monsters from the abyss.
This, song reminds me so much of Warframe. xD I wish this guy made a warframe song. I love em all.
This song makes me really want to see the movie...too bad it won't be in the movie....you are incredible....
This... could almost be a love ballad too. Super love this.
"control we've spotted a class 5 song, sending it to all 40 friends"
Pacific Rim was incredibly dumb but its still fucking awesome and I love it. This song deserves to be in the possible sequel.
DUMB ? In what ?
Don Musik Huge robots and huge monsters to tap into the inner child. Awesome though.
Dean Murphy
It's not dumb. If giant monsters were about to destroy your world, you too would try to build better weapons.
+Don Musik It is physically impossible to build robots of that size. They would be crushed undef their own weight.
Dean Murphy
SHHHHH, It's in the future. In is more likely to not being steel.
I really hope that the Miracle of Sound guys do a song for the 50 years of Doctor Who, I think that would be amazing.
Ya , I’m the new Dr.
One of my favorite songs from Miracle of Sound.
Ez még 2024- ben is zseniális, Gav! 😊 Annyira szeretem a zenédet!! Györgyi/ Budapest
Let's all say it the original pacific rim is 1000 times better than uprising
The "I wanna hear that roarin sound" line syncs up so perfectly to the music that it gives me goosebumps, really well done. Subbed.
I kept hearing 'rolling sound' like the rolling of ball bearings and gears of a mech. But yeah now I'm hearing 'roaring'
Who wants to listen to this while playing Titanfall? I do!
Man And Machine.
thank me l8tr.
I already knew about that one. They both work quite well for Titanfall. Thanks though.
Nikolas Stiffel
im subscribed to miracle of sound dude. he did a good job with that vid.
I'm doin that right now :)
Should try Mechwarrior 5 or Battletech. Maybe even Supreme Commander or Planetary Annihilation.
Kick ass song, loved every second of it!
2:23 - 2:37 fav part. Using a ship as a baseball bat XD
How have I missed this until 2021?!
36 people chased the rabbit
DManVI Random Access Brain Impulse Trigger.
_Technically_ it's spelled *RABIT* as @@AnsweringAnimal pointed out.
Callan Shalders
yeah, you'd have thought they'd have been a bit more important, what with the 4 Jaegers being the last line of defense for all of humanity :D
So true. Chernos design is beyond badass and the team is exactly how you imagine the grumpy siberian stereotype. Not to mention they almost whooped Otachis ass in a Mark 1 jeager. Thats quite the milestone
Im i the only one who wanted to see Pacific Rim after i watched this video?
right with you, its a nice distrakting action flic
I just sort of want to watch Pacific Rim all the time anyways
Nope. Same with me. Great movie and song.
I want to watch pacific rim EVERYTIME i watch this video!
this song made me buy it... was worth...
This song is so awesome I had to watch the movie. Thanks Gav for introducing me to it.:)
Every time I watch this video - I want to rewatch Pacific Rim. And I often do. Great song!
looking back I'm surprised Japan didn't think of pacific rim. you know because their pretty much the base of giant robots fighting giant monsters
I mean they kinda did, look up ultraman
Pacific Rim is based on the Mech genre from Japan.
+DacAttack2142 Ultraman isn't a robot, but, yeah. Same concept.
Is it just me? Or is this song better than the movie...
It is either the most awesome dumb movie ever or
the dumbest awesome movie ever.
Spartan John-A172 The most awesome dumb movie sounds better.
if they had used the sword from the beginning every punch they threw would have been lethal... WTF did they not tell jax what weapons Gipsy came with?
Pineapocalypse also that sword sliced trough kaijus like butter, imagine the havoc it would wreak on a city, there would be nothing left.
Pineapocalypse That's retarded, they fought so long with only one Kaiju that they did the same damage just as the sword spill would...
Pineapocalypse
i think, tearing kaiju's body apart with a sword is waay more epic, that punching him for half an hour with no quite visible effect
It slipped their minds.
Thank you, miracleofsound, for this song, which encouraged me to watch the movie, which I immensely enjoy!
Love the song, the video makes me want to watch the movie despite all of the warnings from my friends. I especially love how the music feels like it's walking along like a Jaeger.
0:07 Is it just me or does that look like they're draining orange juice from their helmets?
It does
I wonder what kind of song you'll do now that Pacific Rim 2 has been out for a while
None because that movie is ass.
Hawt Dawg i thought it was good, probably one of the best movies of the year so far! Cause sometimes you just need a movie about giant robots beating the shit outta giant monsters.
It was dumb, but not in a good way. I'd recommend some of the reviews on here. The movie's full of more holes than swiss cheese.
Hawt Dawg I really don't care about how many plot holes are in it. It's kinda like JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, absolutely filled to the brim with plotholes, but it's still pretty good cause you can't be arsed to look for said plot holes
These types of movies you’re kinda supposed to turn off your brain and just enjoy the mindless action. It’s just supposed to be fun.
To preface, I fucking love both movies, they’re excellent pieces of cinema. I’m sorry, they’re both great
This song really fits BT and Jack Cooper from Titanfall 2, will you be doing a song for that game? Or maybe something specific to the time travel level? or maybe something related to Blisks villainous merc group?
Finally someone who's thinking the same thing as me
Absolutely fantastic, Gavin.
I could see this being a recruitment or training song for pilots.
