    Hey Joe! Love that mobile pit......so many options with it! 👍 That brisket was perfect! The bark the ring the tenderness of the meat.......Amazing!
    Some of the finest looking brisket I've ever seen! Yes please leave all those flavorful juices in the meat.....thanks for not squeezing. Metal On! \m/

      Thank you Ken.. Every time I pull this beast out I think of you lol.. I wish I could've gotten the ribs and more of the candy bites. It's a lot of work especially recording and having guests stopping by.. I'll get better

    I like your style of cooking . Most ppl on here are like do it this way or it’s wrong. Something iv learn is there’s endless ways to bbq. Do what you enjoy and don’t stress out and have fun is what I think. Also don’t get to technical with everything because it will be OK!😂
    I enjoyed seeing your pit,Iv got 2 professional built cookers always like seeing everyone else’s. Now yours is loaded out! Who built this one?

    • @BBQJOE
      @BBQJOE  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The guy that built this one just builds on the side. He doesn't take orders just a guy that has a passion in building all types of smokers.

      @@BBQJOE i understand that’s more less how the ppl that built mine started out. Now it’s just blown up for them. Back to your pit I’m very picky and look at the small details and from what I can see on video as your already aware of they done a fine job with yours.

      Last week I bought a gravity feed smoker from him. Weighs in at 800 lbs. This way I can take on smaller orders. I'll get a video out on it soon.

    I was intrigued by your video really enjoy the whole video
    My question is there a reason for one sheet vs. Two sheets of foil
    I understand the reasoning for which side to use

    • @BBQJOE
      @BBQJOE  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's just what I do. Helps hold the heat longer. I don't use 2 sheets all the time.

    Hey Joe! First time for me to see you. Nice video. I can't help but ask, If you don't mind saying, how much did that rig cost?

    • @BBQJOE
      @BBQJOE  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't say how much I paid for it but I know it would be around 45k to have it built today. It's a one of a kind and I paid nowhere near that cost.

  • @richiesbbq

    Thanks for the content. Just curious if your still cooking and how things are going now. I do this similar kind of thing and looking to retire within the next couple of years and continue on to catering. Also curious if your still putting honey and brown sugar on your briskets. That was a first for me I may try that.

    • @BBQJOE
      @BBQJOE  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh yeah I do all kinds of BBQ's with my personal orders, weddings, grads, backyard parties and more. I just haven't been filming much but plan on it soon. And yes I still use honey and brown sugar on my briskets. I have 5 yrs to go before I can retire from my job and boy I can't wait.

    My God!!! I cannot believe you would put honey and sugar on that brisket. And my lord you lost me as a subscriber once I seen the Sweet baby Rays! I know your learning but please don’t ruin the meat with honey and sugar.
