I only played the first level, because all I wanted were unlocks, but the suit is good. Turn on "Bad To The Bone", take a shotgun and put this suit on and go play some map like Colorado. Very Terminator-esque vibes.

With Hitman The Author, I went into the ICA apartment, killed the woman on MY balcony. Jumped down, shot the camera, went inside, and slaughtered every guard in there. Stole the brother's disguise. Went to the church, shot the bell after wondering if I could jumpstart this. Brought Blac into a shed, he noticed I wasn't the brother, I shot him in the end. He had a guard standing outside the window, shot him in the head, put on his disguise, then left. The Source: I ran upstairs, stole a bodyguard's outfit, then I went into the cooking area, pushed the female waiter out the window. I then killed the recruit guy, dragged his body to the dumpster, headed upstairs, and sat down just in time for the guy to come in. I drowned him. I then went downstairs after putting the bodyguard clothes back on. Found the woman on the balcony, pushed her off, went into the kitchen because I was compromised, punched and killed the waiter, then exited the level. The Vector: I killed all infected, but one almost escaped as I kept missing. Patient Zero: I had to sneak in, the I found a guard, killed him and stole his outfit, then dumped his body. I had waited too long and multiple people got infected, me included. I ran around trying to figure out how to get to the cure, infecting others, but I did make it in the end. Luckily guards kept running in, and I killed a random scientist, whom was one of the targets. I also shot patient zero in the head. I had to kill about 80 people. Holiday Hoarders: Honestly just played it for the suit. I started in the basement, went into a room with the one guy. For some reason he got panicked and started to run, so I shot him in the head. I was upstairs waiting for the time the other guy was alone. I shot him in the head, and then I escaped. Landslide: N/A The Icon: I killed two people in this level, a security guy and crew guy. I turned off the lights, nothing happened. I then made it so that the fames killed him, then I escaped. House Built On Sand: What I did was first enter into the club, caused a gas leak and turned off the oil lamp, the target turned it on causing my first kill. I then found the fortune teller, lured him out, killed him and dumped his body, became him, entered the building, and waited for the one customer to leave. I never turned on the fog machine, I had the other guy come in, killed him, then went for the exit. New York: N/A Haven Island: N/A Austria: Eliminated a good chunk of the targets Siberia: N/A Hantu Port: N/A A Silver Tongue: N/A Embrace Of The Serpent: N/A Illusions of Grandeur: N/A A Bitter Pill: N/A Greed: N/A Pride: N/A Sloth: N/A Gluttony: N/A Lust: N/A Envy: N/A Wrath: N/A Deluxe Escalations, N/A Dartmoor Garden Show: N/A Berlin Egg Hunt: Pretty fun, unlocked the suit as well. I did mess up and get myself killed once. Ambrose Island: N/A Freelancer: First Syndicate Completed
I liked Sloth and Wrath a lot. Sloth is an interesting challenge in routing and thinking about/playing the game different. If there would have been a "free move" mode for Sloth, it would have been better, because you do need to explore the map a bit before planning out a route. Wrath is completely different and I understand people that don't like it because it's "not Hitman". But I enjoy shooters and combat puzzles, so I liked it a lot. The first level felt like Skyfall, setting traps and popping them, then getting to play Terminator in wave 3 after unlocking the shotgun was so cool. I remember setting off an explosive to take out 3-4 enemies, then popping out with the shotgun to kill the final one, so satisfying. The second and third levels were much harder and I had to resort to some cheese (leaving one target alive each wave), but setting up all the distractions and prepping the mansion for defense was very cool, felt like playing the third act of a Burn Notice episode. Again, completely understand where people hated it, it's a totally different gameplay experience from any of the rest of the game. Envy was decent, level 3 seeing the rival do a sniper kill and then denying him the rifle afterwards was a cool moment. Lust was the only one of 7DS I thought was straight trash, but that actually is kinda understandable, as it's the only deadly sin that makes essentially zero sense when mapped onto Hitman mechanics.
Great video. Pretty much agree with most of those ratings. Only one I’d change is envy for Lust. At least Envy was a lot more open and can have some different ways to kill. I really hated Lust thought it was very limited and boring.
For starters, I really enjoy Patient Zero on pretty much anything except SA/SO, because it's brutally hard there even without Master difficulty being a thing. The virus gimmick adds a lot of thrill, whether you try to prevent any infections or go killing all infected while trying to avoid a panic. I actually made a run where I managed to infect EVERYONE in the level and then get away with a Kill Everyone SA rating which was hilarious (if anyone's curious you can just take the hazmat guys' disguises off and they become vulnerable, and I intentionally infected 47 to run around infecting people for a bit before taking the vaccine). Also I'll comment on the Deluxe Escalations (not the 7DS, I'll buy them someday mainly for unlocks and completion but no rush) since I bought them just this week and played through them, mainly for unlocks. Dubai was fine and honestly was a pretty solid example of how to make Escalations, Dartmoor was mostly annoying on Level 3 because I hate when you're forced to use loud guns, Berlin started off rough but got better as it went, I liked how each part was a different section. Chongqing... can go fuck itself, getting SA there felt like a matter of luck and the 5 minute timer was stressful as fuck and forced you to speedrun it. Mendoza had a fun gimmick though, and mixed the targets each time. Carpathian Mountains though, it was actually pretty dang fun while being easy, probably one of the very few Escalations I'd replay just for fun. After the pain that was the main mission SA/SO it felt downright cathartic to blaze through with the katana. As a whole they all kind of pushed Suit Only though, which I'm not huge on. Still, I like a bunch of the unlocks and I bought it entirely with Microsoft points so no regrets lol. The biggest appeal of Hitman to be is the overall freedom of playstyle. You aren't obligated to try and aim for SA rating, and sometimes going guns blazing can be both challenging and fun. I'm personally not a fan of SA/SO as a whole since I prefer the stealth be done by hiding in plain sight, blending in and aiming for a cinematic approach and usually only do it for the sake of challenge completion. Having a wild variety of gameplay options is really what sells Hitman for me.
You said at the beginning that you got silent assassin after killing everyone in patient zero after infecting them. You revived silent assassin because no non-targets were killed or compromised you. Since no one is left, there are no witnesses and since everyone was a target, there were no non target kills. This is easily displayed if you play the kill everyone contracts (found in trending contracts page)
11:53 well Sloth is actually valid because you moving and doing stuff is actually the opposite of what the sin means and it adds a nice challenge, to not rush if not necessary and to take your time
the sloth DLC was my favorite and you really shouldn't be so hard on it, I really liked it because of how different it was and cool the dynamic was how the sloth demon was against you rather than all the other sin demons that were more on your side. It doesn't deserve "garbage" category just because it's not like the "typical hitman experience". I personally really really enjoyed the sloth DLC more than any other one. And something else to mention is, how is it only meant for speedrunners? it's the sin of sloth, If you run in the level you lose vitality faster than if you just walked and if you do pacify a target with the snail bomb it doesn't lose the silent assassin rating. and on a different topic you're just generally very harsh on a lot of the DLCs that were actually good, yeah in a lot of them thy tell you to kill targets in very specific ways but that's like the vas majority of the escalations and contracts and even freelancer. you can't say a product is terrible just because you don't like it
I really liked Berlin Egg Hunt, I admit I'm a sucker for costumes, so it rocks for me. The Bunny mask costume works great for when you're doing some serial killer RP. If you're doing SASO on Hawke, it's a requirement to wear it.
Good tier list but I definitely disagree with the patient zero. It's very unique and fun to mess around. Sloth wasn't the worst experience. It isn't nearly as fun as patient zero but it is unique as well.
this might be weird to say but Haven island is my favorite map, i like the tropical feel to it and sometimes just sit on the chairs at 47's shack!! my only complaint about it is you can't unlcok the swim suit!!
its cool, absolution suit is my fav, summer sightseeing is one of, if not the best in the casual category, but the best part is the floral baller, that gun is so cool and one of the best ballers by looks imo
I think the Author is great. From the atmosphere, to the main mechanic being shooting the bell to ring it, to assemble your targets, it is both fun to speed run and feel like you invented new ways to beat it quickly. It doesn't have as many cutscene kills as the Author, but I love the atmosphere and background of the targets. Plus the ghost suit is hilarious.
I'd say the worst DLC are the Street Art Pack and the Makeshift Pack. Cosmetic bullshit. Badly designed aswell. Why would you design this? Why not do design some actually cool and fitting gear. Maybe a Legacy Pack bringing back weapons from old games. Or a Tactical Pack with a Kevlar Armor like the ICA had in Absolution. Or a Providence Pack. Outfitting you like you're a Herald. Just something that feeds into a bit into the Hitman fantasy. It would definitely sell.
Great video man! I am a huge fan of Hitman and you are one of the only two youtubers that I follow daily! (Sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language) Greetings from Italy!
Great video thanks. Curious if you have a recommendation or a video on which parts of the World of Assassination Deluxe pack to buy? Based on this I'm thinking Hitman 3 Access Pass: Hitman 2 Expansion is a must buy and Hitman 3 Seven Deadly Sins is a skip? What about Hitman 3 Deluxe Pack? Thanks again
Somehow I’m quite sure the hitman 2 deluxe edition that gives the two maps gives you access to Seven Deadly Sins now. Not 100% on that but I never bought 7DS but I have them since freelancer dropped
The entire map is a trespassing zone, so it's very hard to do suit only. it's incredibly hard to isolate a target, and even harder to sneakily take someone else
I personally think submissions from Hitman 2016 are beyond decent overall while those from Hitman 2018 are garbages. I mean in Hitman 2016 IOI changed the map quite a lot in submissions to make them significantly different from story missions which is pretty cool, but unfortunately most of them in Hitman 2018 are just with few changes, and targets are only roaming in very restricted areas, making those missions boring to replay. And although I don't enjoy playing some of the stages in 7DS pack like sloth and wrath, I still find them somehow creative comparing to the existing playstyle of the story missions, and they also made quite decently in graphics too. I do agree that many of the DLCs are not only lack of free approaches but also the fun for many players to replay, but I would definitely love seeing different game modes and designs in Hitman trilogy. Like them or not we won't be getting new Hitman games for a couple of years so they're all we have for now. I just hope IOI can get back to this title soon.
didnt u put haven island as the worst map in your list video did your thoughts change would carpathian mountains be the worst where would you place haven then
My only problem is with the last sniper map. The last map you have to play like 1000 times over & over & over & over, just to unlock a sniper rifle. A long boring grind for a weapon you will never use.
agreed. this is just stupid especially for completionalist. i've already completed all the challenges within mastery 10 and it takes more meaningless grinding to only get a sniper rifle which is not even that good? nah.
I failed lust because I couldn't give the admirer the bouquet, I ended failing because I shot them out of frustration. Fuck this mission. Wrath is a failed opportunity for a pretty cool escalation. I like the idea of having to take out guards that are all on high alert with stuff you find along the way. But the execution is god awful and it feels like they seriously cut some corners.
dunno, i hate egg hunt, kinda wished i didn't even buy the game when i saw it 🤣 thanks for the warning on 7DS, i was thinking on buying it but naaah. i see i'd just get pissed. awesome video, as always. cheers!
I feel like sniper assassin missions were a waste of resources that could have been put into making a whole new map which makes them really dissapointing in my opinion. They also don't unlock anything in the main game as far as I understand, just for this gamemode. Not to mention it feels way more satisfying to just snipe people on regular maps like Sapienza with multiple vantage points or Paris or even Colorado or any other map really. And the challanges there revolve around scord and time, which only speedruners appreciate while I want to 100% the game in my own pace.
Oh yeah, not really included in this list because these were PS exclusive, but I also enjoyed the Sarajevo Six, someone was able to make them playable and with rank in Peacock on PC and it was glorious to play them again (got the original one of PS3 back then). They are fun but I wouldn't rank them anywhere beyond good, probably decent... and Colorado in bad, hated that one.
I purchased the deadly sins DLC with the sole intention of completing my item collection, and my god, I found it painful to even attempt some of them, namely the Lust, Wrath and the Sloth one's. I still haven't completed those, I just cannot bring myself to do it, they tried something different, props to them, but this ain't it chief.
So if I play the game on gamepass, do I have to buy the actual game AND the deluxe pack if I want to play the New York map and Haven Island? I don’t know what to but
I never understood IOI's marketing strategy with Hitman WOA like they made the best dlcs with new maps and contents free with base game but charging money for some garbage escalation contract that only few people care I love this new Hitman series so much so that I even bought it twice (steam and epic) but I wish they were more customer friendly about their expansions it was so convoluted to even but this game before they merged all the maps in single game. I wish to see some dlcs in future bringing back classic Hitman missions in new game engine and modern graphics.
Shouldn’t a game aspire to have different styles of mission instead of appealing to one demographic? They did something cool and unique with patient zero and I think it’s weird to take points away from the map for trying to be different
I hate Holiday Hoarders.. Trying to get all the presents then blow the two bandits up at the end was a goddamn chore. I never bought 7DS so I can't speak on those, but this one is just annoying as shit..
I don’t get why they didn’t continue to release paid DLC like Haven Island and New York, honestly none of the DLC maps had even been poorly received to my knowledge.
Personally, I think Freelancer is really bad. Its only good if you like to be punished if you screw up at any point. Plus, I feel It's honestly too difficult at certain points. While I do like the concept of freelancer, I honestly don't like the execution of it. This is just my Personal opinion, not saying you can't enjoy it.
I didn’t even know that all those missions were dlc, i just bought the golden edition of the game while it was at 80% discount without knowing what i would gain. Cool tho.
Mostly agree But, reckon in this case Patient Zero, all the connected dlc should be combined for your ranking which would turn it into good/great. Suppose 7 deadly sins should combined too but would not improve the ranking
i personally find envy ok it feels like a cod zombies in hitman but being restricted to only knifes and swords dosent make it fun. i would be more then down to play a zombies mode for hitman as i sunk around 500 hours in left 4 dead 2. Good teir list though i agree with most of the stuff
Great list, though i would put the golden mask/devil escalation at the very top, simply because it took me back in time to my Blood Money days, and I somehow felt a comraderie with that yellow devil guy and how I kept running into him and having him watch me from a distance like a proud mentor. I don't know, it kinda made me emotional, ngl.

Landslide: N/A
The Icon: I killed two people in this level, a security guy and crew guy.

Hokkaido patient zero being in garbage tier is a crime I can’t even watch the rest of this
For starters, I really enjoy Patient Zero on pretty much anything except SA/SO, because it's brutally hard there even without Master difficulty being a thing.
The Summer Sightseeing Suit is imo without question the best suit in the game
its cool, absolution suit is my fav, summer sightseeing is one of, if not the best in the casual category, but the best part is the floral baller, that gun is so cool and one of the best ballers by looks imo
I personally love the Number Six With Gloves
Winter suit from Silent assassin elusive
For me it's the Absolution Suit, BM Suit, Sniper Challenge Suit, Grey's Jacket, and Ashen Suit. Top 5 suits in the game.
Ultimate Black Suit for me.
great video, but it seems like you forgot a few maybe? i’m curious as to how you would rank Hokkaido Snow Festival or the Mills Revere
I can only buy woa… $74.16 exactly in ps store. I’m late to hitman games but I love them. The new ones are best for gameplay some story.
(Sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language)
Greetings from Italy!
Many people may hate me for this, but my favourite game in the ENTIRE franchise is Hitman 2016
Nice content man!
I like sapienza dlc's. And New York map is the best dlc map
I love your Hitman content. It's well structured and informed. I like Colorado though btw. What are some reasons people dislike it?
The entire map is a trespassing zone, so it's very hard to do suit only. it's incredibly hard to isolate a target, and even harder to sneakily take someone else
It's a weird strategy of IOI to have their worst DLC be paid and their best be free.
I just hope IOI can get back to this title soon.
on embrace of the serpant you could put something in the traps bc he checks them ever route he takes
The pilots name in Dubai is tommy maverick 💀💀💀💀
didnt u put haven island as the worst map in your list video did your thoughts change would carpathian mountains be the worst where would you place haven then
The seven deadly sins mission on berlin was my favorite by far
this man cooked and made a 5 star meal while burning the whole kitchen
Lust is bad i agree i couldn't pick up the keys so i had to use bombs
dunno, i hate egg hunt, kinda wished i didn't even buy the game when i saw it 🤣 thanks for the warning on 7DS, i was thinking on buying it but naaah. i see i'd just get pissed. awesome video, as always. cheers!
I don't remember greed having a loud pistol. Did they change it after this video?
Would love to know the ratings for Sarajevo Six now that it's available for PC. I just completed it and I seriously loved it.
Hated the Sins and stopped playing them once I got to sloth
Freelancer got me playing again after a long break from the game
I purchased the deadly sins DLC with the sole intention of completing my item collection, and my god, I found it painful to even attempt some of them, namely the Lust, Wrath and the Sloth one's. I still haven't completed those, I just cannot bring myself to do it, they tried something different, props to them, but this ain't it chief.
What was sad about illusions of grandeur is I immediately found a way to get sa/so on my second try
So if I play the game on gamepass, do I have to buy the actual game AND the deluxe pack if I want to play the New York map and Haven Island? I don’t know what to but
What would you rank the Sarajevo Six?
New york and haven island are dlc??
12:33 if you use the gold brick sedative poison grenade you do not lose silent assassin
I never understood IOI's marketing strategy with Hitman WOA like they made the best dlcs with new maps and contents free with base game but charging money for some garbage escalation contract that only few people care
I love this new Hitman series so much so that I even bought it twice (steam and epic) but I wish they were more customer friendly about their expansions it was so convoluted to even but this game before they merged all the maps in single game.
I wish to see some dlcs in future bringing back classic Hitman missions in new game engine and modern graphics.
where’s hokkaido snow festival ?
That one was too easy tbh the challenges did give me some cool stuff tho
My opinion is everything here I would pick the sane apart from the Sniper Missions Austria was so fun for me.
Shouldn’t a game aspire to have different styles of mission instead of appealing to one demographic? They did something cool and unique with patient zero and I think it’s weird to take points away from the map for trying to be different
I think freelancer should have been at the bottom.
7 deadly sins dlcs replicate the sins so well that for a moment this turned into an actual sin tier list
The Vector can be beaten in less than 30 seconds, if you actually know what you're doing.
Do you have a top 10 suits video?
in the vector they dont run away if you kill bradley paine last...
Your doing great man keep it up
How much are all dlc‘s for Hitman 1 and 2 in Euros?
Patient zero and the vector I feel like should be in decent tier. Other than that, great list!
Can IO please add the map variations to freelancer
13:18 what an analogy, I’m using that one
Oh boy how people’s minds changed about Haven Island
Personally, I think Freelancer is really bad. Its only good if you like to be punished if you screw up at any point. Plus, I feel It's honestly too difficult at certain points. While I do like the concept of freelancer, I honestly don't like the execution of it.
This is just my Personal opinion, not saying you can't enjoy it.
Idk, I'm no speedrunner but I enjoyed sloth, and haven aside I'd argue that the goldbrick is the best item from the DLC, at least post molotov nerf
How do you have another suit in patient zero?
In the most recent patch, you can change your starting suit now instead of just the Tactical Turtleneck.
The Icon has some of the best accident kills.
Wasn't The Source the first before The Author?
I didn’t even know that all those missions were dlc, i just bought the golden edition of the game while it was at 80% discount without knowing what i would gain. Cool tho.
Ambrose Island is DLC??? Jesus, stock Hitman 2 was threadbare, how was it so popular?
ik im extremely late, but i still say they should convert the sniper assasin maps into playable maps since its not that much extra effort
I enjoyed freelancer so much I bought some of the cosmetic DLC in Hitman just out of respect for making freelancer free.
What suit was he wearing in patient zero hookkaido
Winter suit, unlocked from Elusive Targets
You're completely dead wrong about Patient Zero. Hitman is not meant to be played Suit Only, and literally all of your complaints stem from that.
Mostly agree
But, reckon in this case Patient Zero, all the connected dlc should be combined for your ranking which would turn it into good/great.
I think the Shashka beast is stronger than the normal shashka and the strongest one in general if I’m not mistaken
