Yeah its sad. Too bad Yager was quite literally the most incompetent dev ive ever seen. At least Fntastic never had anything to fuck up in the first place, Yager managed to fuck up something genuinely good.
@@captainchippie4454 yes i think they really f.... up something they really could build on, if they needed money so bad they could have created an singelplayer campaign type game with a good story ,like why the main game was as it is. Or just made it a payed game or a payed wipe 2months wipe intervals. So many ways to keep improving and fight off cheaters. Im hoping for Gray Zone now!!
This development team seems to be pushing all the right buttons but I’m skeptical that it’s going to be a big hit. I love the premium title concept as that dramatically helps cheating. But with there be enough players? There needs to be enough PVP that the threat remains high. Your spot on about guides taking the place of in game instruction. If the game takes off it won’t take long at all for those to come out. Overall I’m hoping this game delivers but I have my doubts.
A healthy level of skepticism is overall better for a player base than being overhyped. I feel like it has the ability to tap into the Tarkov playerbase while attracting all of peripheral types (traditional tactical gamers, open world shooters, etc) to grow. Time will tell. Ty for watching
Yeah, it'll be a neat trick to make a truly PvE focused game when PvP is live... PvP'ers are gonna PvP. If they can pull it off by making the NPCs dangerous enough and/or the map is big enough that other player encounters are relatively scarce? I'm ok with that. As long as PvP is a real possibility and that tension is there. Remove the PvP element entirely and my interest rapidly declines. Occasionally a pure PvE game can hold my attention long term but it's rare. The more it leans into the PvE encounters and missions the more it needs those to be really well done though.
Agreed. I know some will love the idea of this being purely pve but I seriously think the amount of content the game would need to turn out to make that sustain growth and not overly monetize is not feasible imo. The PVP needs to be not only feasible but likely when entering late game areas. Looking forward to seeing if they can pull it off. Ty for watching.
I want The Cycle back!!!!

Tyvm. I appreciate the comment. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.
Do you know if there’s going to be another beta before launch
Devs have stated they want early access to start in spring. What that looks like, idk. Ty for watching
