When looking into the matter I found out that several people had the same issue even with different models from ASUS. Just something for you to keep in mind.

I am in the same boat.. I want monitor that does 89% productivity reading and console gaming .. spectrum one from bestbuy feels like has it all..I know they have had a bad past
@@codysmith844 For my first 4k and hdr monitor, It has been great. Especially in Battlefield 1 and games with hdr. Also movies look fantastic. If you dont mind the curved design, I would recommend it yeah. Only thing that I don't like is the colors, I have a IPS monitor as well and the colors on that look more vibrant.

Cuz would u say the only “downside” to number 2 would be the color isn’t as vibrant as 3? And if so how much? Sorry for all the questions I’m just tryna figure out the best option before spending alot of money . Cuz 2 looks best. But I always heard IPS panels were better than VA. And I’m newish to monitor stuff. So it’s confusing. N I also don’t know much about hdr.
@@codysmith844 Yes, the colors look different from my IPS monitor. Its kinda hard to explain but the red areas look more washed out imo. But I managed to change it in the color settings. In HDR mode also fixes some of that "washing out" effect. I dont know really the difference between IPS and VA, but I think VA is usually for curved monitors. I think you should buy the cheaper one if you don't care for HDR. I got mine from a sale so I think it was a good deal.
love my alienware qd oled but for some reason everything including menus looks slightly pixelated, i ran through all settings guides etc but cant fix it... seems like a ps5 issue, but this is only for menus
@@TotallyFelixM depends are you getting 1080p, 1440P, 2k or 4K monitors? 1080p would be best suited to at largest a 27 inch due to the pixels per inch. Even 1440p I’d probably go with a 27 but you probably won’t notice much difference in pixelization. 2k and 4K I’d say go with the 34 you’ve got enough pixels per inch to cover it.
@@pandapoolauncher2839 no because essentially you would have the same size screen, but with a 4K, you would have significantly more pixels meaning the pixels can be smaller leading to a more clear image. Basically think of it this way: Your picture is made up of little dots that form your image on the screen. The resolution is essentially how many of those dots make up the image. If you have more dots in the same area of screen, you’ll have a better image. But as you make the screen bigger, you are stretching how big those dots have to be in order to make that image as big as the screen.
its insane and rediculous that a 27 inch display cost 800 and more. I mean ok 144hz ect...but man you get a decent TV in 55-65 inch for that price! Manufacturers should be ashamed of them self for ripping that hard

It's like thinking a bigger screen will help you see more, it doesn't. It just stretches things and takes time away from you when you need to turn your head to see your radar or ammo count. Play with a garbage pistol for a while, only use this. Once you master that then play with a better class. You'll get better this way.

Just an educated guess, looks like a custom built, 75% keyboard. If I had to guess the most similar one, I would say it's like the akko 5075B Plus black&silver, just with a different keycap set. Could be an ajazz ak820, though really it could be anything similar.

So I bought the LG 32GR93U and after 135 hours of use, there is now a stuck red pixel on my screen. That really sucks and I've decided to return that monitor. Life ain't good with LG. Life is garbage. I decided to return this monitor and I will get a gaming TV instead.
I got the Sony A95L TV, but I’m thinking about giving monitor gaming a shot. I just have one question, do I have to activate a game mode on a monitor? Because if so then it’s a pass for me, I want to have the best quality without game mode, since game mode drops the graphical quality of games a lot imo. The Dell Alienware AW3225QF is really tempting for me.
SDR is still a valid choice in 2024 given lackluster compatibility to this day (especially if you don't have access to RTX HDR) and the price and availability of monitors with decent local dimming or OLED that can provide actual HDR experience. we really need to see either OLED becoming much cheaper to produce or mini-LED finally exploding on the market before HDR stops being a niche in PC gaming.
