That's really clear & straight to the point .....
MANY THANKS for the video friend 👍😻
Thanks
@@MJF85 when I changed the diff. fluid last summer ( 2022 - & thanks to your video ) - there was only 1.5 litres inside the diff. & I think it hadn't been topped up for at least 50k miles - After draining, I had to put around 3.5 litres in to the fill level , so it was around 2 litres short but still going !!
Thanks again! Back after a couple years to do this one again 👍
Thanks
The best video ever watched right to the point.
Thank you.
Thanks 👍
Great video..thanks although my local parts store have me 75W for the rear diff…I’ll have to check that before I do service..

Perfect, just the info I needed! Thanks
Great to hear!

Would you know how many litres the Diff will take?
I’ve got a vw crafter’ so would this be the same. ?
Thanks.
I believe its 1.5litres. Thanks
@@MJF85
Thanks 🙏
How much oil did the rear differential take to fill?
@GregVirgoe Hi Greg, less than you might think, I'm sure I bought 3 litres but had plenty left, if I remember right it only took about 1.5litres. This was on my self build camper I did 4 yrs ago, thanks for sharing your vids 👍
Phoned Mercedes and they said it takes .3 of a litre but only sell it in 5 L absolutely stupid
@@David-qe6wq I have seen it in 1 litre cans but be prepared to pay £55 a litre :O
Is the gearbox and diff oil the same?
No, they're different, oil specs are in the description.
Can I use 75. 90 synthetic
Gracias
Please guys what are the volumes of oil required for both?
I'd get 3 litres of both so you have spare. I'm sure the diff was about 1.5, the gearbox a little more.
Was this a manual or automatic sprinter
Nice video
Manual
Cool, thanks!!

Torque spec for diff drain plug?
not 100% sure i'm afraid, i just use experiance to go tight enough.
Just do it tight.
I used to torque them in myself.
But it's more important it doesn't drip than Torqued.
@@Gommerell mark a line before removing on drain plug
Did you notice any difference to the drive after the changes? Or is this purely for maintenance? Thanks for video 👍
Just maintenance, shouldn't change anything about how it drives.

@@MJF85 .... but when I changed my 313 UK sprinter manual gearbox fluid , it felt like a brand new gearbox ( buttery smooth in operation ).
