Im here also for a subaru outback, my front axles both wont spin freely, i think it could be the front differential? I have a high pitch squeak when turning and accelerating.
I just changed my front differential my rear differential and my transfer case fluid. After changing my differential fluid, I hear a slight grinding when I make a right hand turn only only way and I make a right hand turn. What could this be. Should I re-change all the fluids again?
@@hawghunters so I took it to a mechanic, he asked what fluid. I told him 75w90 for the rear he told me only! Only! Put in BMW fluids. In his years of experience he said only use what they have because what they use is much different. So I did. The noise went away. Not only was the fluid lighter but the color was different also found out it has some type of cooling agent in it as well. The noise only happened when I did the rear differential so I changed it out the fluid, I will do it again on my next oil change.
