This is a fantastic tutorial! It is quick, detailed and I really enjoyed hearing the enjoyment in your voice. Thanks so much, I am going to make this bag.
I can't thank you enough for this video! I made zipper bags for the first time last week and ran into a bit of a snag on around the zipper. Using the zipper tabs was the game changer! I'll never make zipper bags without them. You made this process so easy and not intimidating! Thanks again!
Excellent video and instructions! I had some scrap Tula Pink fabrics that I used; my bag turned out 8”x11.25”. It’s going to make the perfect gift for a friend. Now to make one for myself. Thank you!!
LOVE the new Machine! Im looking to get one next month and let my babylock only produce embroidery! 8700 IS SO QUIET!!! LOVE the pouch and your sweet ideas!!
What a great tutorial. I love how you did the zipper. I’m going to try this one for sure. Not sure if you have a tutorial for the vinyl front bag but I’m going to find out!😉. I’m new here and will be retuning.
Hello there!… I love your idea of making project bags to match your project. I am a knitter and just recently started making my own project bags, I will for sure start doing the tabs on my zippers as you demonstrated. Can’t wait to watch all your previews videos, and look forward to more (new subscriber here) take care 💕
Great instructional video. I have a question. In the beginning of your video you said you made one with a box bottom. Do you have the instructions for how how to do that?
Thanks for sharing.🙂 Nice bag. I would ikr to add a vinyl pocket on the outside. This way I can insert a name card of the project. Any suggestions? I'm using the same fabric for bags.
Ooh good idea. Maybe I can work something up and do a short video on it. I’m thinking you could cut a piece of clear vinyl the size you want and add strips of fabric around the edges. Sort of like binding. Then sew it on the exterior panel on three sides…
thanks Ren I dont know how I missed this one !! I keep watching your free motion quilting but when I try it, I just cant get it to look nice or the tension right lol I till have to get the speed Im going right also !!
Free motion takes a ton of practice to get really smooth and good at it. I’d suggest buying some paper and doing a bunch of doodling. I did that. Spirals and curls and simple meandering. It’s muscle memory and helps with the movements. Plus it’s only paper your wasting and not fabric 🤓. Keep at it and you’ll get better!
I love this bag. It’s simple, quick to assemble. Thank you so much for sharing. Everything about this video is perfect.
Great tutorial- thank you. Love the way you did the zipper tabs.

Note to me. I must remember to add the zip before the lining with extra pockets are added.
Do you have a video on how to box the corners?
I don’t. I’ll try to remember to make one.
@@renpuffinberger6664 I know how to box the bottom of a bag, but, I’d love to figure out how to box the top where the zipper is
