It’s funny. I had a ‘96 Chev S-10 pickup. It was assembled in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The radio was assembled in Mexico. I actually took some verbal abuse about the radio. Best vehicle I ever owned. And, the AM/FM/Cassette performed flawlessly the entire time I owned that truck.
The Kukje engine is a license made Cummins A-Series, it is the true jewel of an engine. It is quiet, has mechanical IDI with no ECM to run the engine itself.
Just got my TYM T474 Friday morning. I'm super excited about it. I've looked at cab tractors for months. TYM is the best value and man talk about a strong overbuilt tractor. They are incredible!
@@DonnieDarko727 I love it. It's a great machine. I'm not sure yet if I'm regretting not getting another hydrostat. I recently moved 5 yards of gravel for a buddy. By the time I finished my left hip was feeling it. But I really do like the 12x12 gear drive and I'm getting more comfortable with it.
I researched new tractors for two years and decided on a TYM. I bought a TYM 574 just like yours with a shuttle shift instead of a hydrostatic and love everything about it. My complaint isn't with the machine, but their dealer network. The dealer I bought it from is a total waste of time for help and I even called the people that gave you your TYM 574 and they brushed me off twice. Love the tractor, but dread dealing with the dealer system if I truly need their assistance.
Josh I am so happy you are feeling better. Love the new tractor. That thing is gonna be AWE-SOME! Don't let anyone give you grief over what you buy. I tell them,1 they don't make ANYTHING all American and 2 if you are buying it for me, I'll consider it.
Morning Josh like your new tractor. The fact that it's mostly mechanical is great it's a lot easier to tweak a linkage rod than figure out what electric plug went bad. South Korea is at least a ally. 👍🇺🇸
Thanks for reviewing this tractor. I have been interested to see how a mid size and the larger one do on the farm. Now all you need is a hay spike for the back so that you can grab two at a time.
Nice looking tractor. I agree it's hard to find anything American made anymore. My Bobcat CT2035 compact tractor is actually a Kioti CK3510. Its just painted white and has Bobcat stickers.
In 2020 I purchased a new T574 cab also, I now have a little over 3,000 hours on it, there are 2 nice screens in front of the radiator keep them clean one pops right out the other is a PITA, when you know you will know, the front bolts holding the loader frame to the frame of the tractor will shear off with not much effort as there is a one inch spacer at the bolt location, I made up better spacer blocks out of solid stock increasing the contact surface area and I have not had a problem sense. I work that tractor hard and it has put up with a ton of abuse from me, I didn't buy it to park it it needs to earn its keep and that it does. RBB
Hey Josh, You need a 3 point bale sticker for the rear of your tractor so you could carry two at a time. God bless you Josh and hope you get to feeling better. Nice tractor. You do know that tractor is going to spoil you.
I have a 3pt bale spear my brotha...but I typically don't tote them across the farm unless absolutely neccesary. I've got bales stationed all over the farm for use in various targeted fields. I've got one though...ya make a good point!
I recently purchased a Branson 3515 cab tractor and I am pretty impressed so far. It will be interesting to see how TYM absorbs the Branson lineup. I expect the 15 and 20 series Branson to continue for a long time even if the name on the stickers and badge changes. The Kukje designed machines are just fantastic tractors. Really nice machine, I've been trying to explain to my dad who is one of those bleed red white and blue guys (nothing wrong with that, just makes him a little stubborn) that there is no such thing as a true American made tractor anymore, you have to do your homework in this market for sure. Some folks don't like hearing that their beloved green paint isn't USA built anymore lol
I watched your videos before I bought my 574, mine is the same machine only rops due to trees and work enviornment. I have roughly 250 hrs on mine, we are on 44 acres at 7,500' I have used this machine and used it hard. I have broken a thing or two, however if im being honest it was my fault and not the machine. You should check out what I do with mine. Great video!
I really like the forward and reverse peddles having to do the handle be side the steering wheel is a hassle ours wore out so the the way that is designed is so great nice tractor josh
Good morning to you Josh, Great video on TYM, enjoyable and informative. I am sure you were able to sell the John Deere which was also beautiful. Be well
Got to take part in making some Kubota tractors here in Anderson, SC at the McLaughlin factory for a little while. Pretty neat process on how everything is done! Especially the cab and waterproofing process.
I'll tell ya this....when I bought my first tractor I was all about working in the woods with it...so I didn't buy a cab...totally used it in the field 99% of the time...very rarely would I be in the woods
Morning josh i wonded when you was going to show your new tractor off it looks sweet what is it like the main thing is does it do what you want it to do and more or not to good well you seem to be happy with it untill next time keep safe.
Josh TYM has two assembly/distribution plants, the one in Wilson, NC that you went to and one in Caldwell, TX. Mine, being I am in TX came assembled from Caldwell. I think the TX plant covers everyone west of the Mississippi. The NC location has their corporate offices also as you said. The TX aaaembly plant opened in 2019 if I remember right. 🙂
I know you'll be happy with this TYM. I've five(5)TYMs. Only new machines I've ever owned. My experience with them gives me the confidence to say I will probably never buy another Deere......unless they're 25 years old or more. A new Deere & Kubota just don't give you the value that the TYM does. Awesome channel!
I bought a cab T574 this past fall, partly based on your past reviews of the TYM brand. I'm very happy with it so far. When comparing it with other brands, it just seemed to offer so much more for the price. A lot of things that were options on other tractors of similar size were standard with this. I also like the turbo Kukje engine. Do you like it better than the Yanmar engines that are standard with their other tractors? Thanks for your informative videos. I've learned a lot from your channel.
Buddy that is a nice looking tractor! Our Kioti dealer started carrying them as well. Like you said man, it’s a global economy. And South Korea builds a heck of a tractor. May want to space those wheels out a bit for more stability. Glad you are on the mend!!! 😁👍🏼👊🏼
Nice tractor. I have a dong feng 54 hp chinese tractor that we use to clean up job sites. 25 years old, never had a problem. Our new excavator and loader are kubota.
When I had a horse farm in central NC, I owned a New Holland with loader and 4-in-1. I used the crap out of that tractor and pretty much abused it. I sold it after approx 12 years with around 2700 hours. Only repairs it needed other than typical maintenance was a PTO seal, replace a few loader hydraulic hoses over time and front axle spindle that I broke when I ran over a tree stump. It never went to the shop. I sold it because we were moving to the NC coast and I figured we would be on a small piece of land and I wouldn't need a tractor. Well, ended up buying a custom built home on acreage, so tractor shopping I went. I wanted a 45-50 hp, cab, 4x4, loader with 3rd function and backhoe. I looked at Kubota and LS. Went with the LS because the same set-up with Kubota was $23k higher than the LS. I have a few hundred hours on the LS with most use moving trees, brush, mowing and digging out stumps. It has ran flawless!
In 2013 I purchased the T503 HST Cab with the Tier 3 Caterpillar/Perkins engine, the tractor itself has been a solid unit, the engine is another story. When they say it has a 7 or 8 year drive train warranty that doesn't include the engine, that warranty is from the engine manufacturer. I had about 580 hrs. when something let go under the front gear cover, it wiped out teeth on all the gears and all the teeth on the governor causing the engine to go in overspeed. I turned the key off, when I thought the engine was about to explode when it finally shut off. Needless to say my engine warranty had expired so I was stuck having to replace the engine. The tractor stayed parked for 2 years before I found a nice used ($3200) one and swapped it out. (Over 9000 dollars for a new long blocked with a 2 month waiting period). The T503 looks almost exactly like the T574, the display is different and you have Bluetooth radio and small charging ports. I did install myself the 3 function for about $200. The thing I hate the most is when I'm pushing something like a pile of dirt, the HST doesn't release fast enough, it will bog and kill the engine, so I have to just about stop in front of the object and gradually increase the pedal and when I feel it starting to bog I'll release the pedal. There is a sensitivity selector switch but that is still not sensitive enough, hopefully TYM has addressed that issue, other than that I really enjoy the TYM. For my comparisons I do own a smaller Kubota HST, it has things that I like and dislike about it. Item for item you will not find a better tractor for the price. At the time I paid $28000 delivered from 5 hours away .
im looking at a 141hp m6-141 kubota with loader, bucket, forks, blade and duabble auger blower for pretty desnt price at my kubota for $91,500 wich 115 hp T5.115newholland with loader, bucket forks they want $139,980
Awesome video Josh I was so wanting RK tractor which are TYM's ended up getting an LS which are built over in South Korea too I see many similarities between LS and TYM, will be so glad when this covid thing's over numbers going back up around us in MO
It's like asking if you ever thing ya have too much money in the savings account....man..tractors hold and often go up in value. Most of the tractors I have are worth more than I paid for them years after I bought them...so once I have a shop big enough to keep them all inside...it again is like money in the bank
Have you thought about a bale spear for your 3 pt hitch? If you have to transport a number of bales for a distance that might be a good idea. It would also add weight to the back of your tractor which would also be beneficial.
great video as always.... i was wondering can you post a pic of the side by side with Big T so we can see the size comparison? either way thanks for the video.
Good fyi on the tym tractor but didn't mention if rear tires had deep juice or other fluids for counter weight very good without adding equipment to 3 point very beneficial when working in limited space
Very nice tractor, love the third function and rear remotes. Wish my Kubota Grand L6060 came standard with those! Remember on a turbo charged tractor, after working hard let it idle for a while to cool down before shutting off. Less stress on the turbo charger.
I've been waiting to see that new rig on a video that thing looks like a good tractor josh. My only issue is the price per month but for a nice tractor you r gonna pay for it. Now I'm ready for the next video. Have a great day buddy
If it's in the Mahindra family I'm way jealous- I want that big one with gear drive- but I'm wondering about getting them serviced-Im not nice to my tractors great vid
Best feature for Some is zero down, zero payments..... With age if the Forward- reverse are electrically controlled problems may arise....We have a JD 110 TLB and it has been to the shop 2 times for failure to either reverse or forward.... each trip was $2000 bucks.. So sort of leary of any pedal controlled hydro......
Josh, I really like the TYM Tractor. Well thought out engineering. I know you would've bought an American Made tractor, if it were possible. Sadly, it's not even possible. We as a nation, need to do something to change that. My question is this: What is the maximum weight capacity/ capability of this tractor?
keep on watching my brotha....I go over all that info....around 3k for rear 3pt and around 2700 at max lift on the loader according to what I'm reading
you can do anything you'd like with hydrostatic, but a geared tractor would be better and easier to run for plowing and discing larger areas. I wouldn't wanna plow with this...I'd want a geared tractor that maintains a constant speed
Well I can tell you that cab sure makes my Murray look and feel not so good. But my Murray cost a lot less and I do not have to do near the work you do. I just wished we could make something in this country other than debts, Thanks for the video's
Very nice tractor Josh. Its been 45 years since American Made tractors were available. Try as you may, you'd have a hard time finding a pair of American Made shoes.
The 1908 "Advanced" Rumley steam tractor (essentially a locomotive that could cover ground, rather than run along rails!) was the last totally American Made tractor owned by my family. It replaced the "Basic" Rumley that was drawn by oxen! I'm glad to learn that you have bounced back from COVID! Enjoy that new tractor... it could have been a Rumley! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
lol....Sounds awesome....but most aren't in the market for a 114 year old tractor bhahhahha...that thing would be awesome to see! Post some pix over on the stoney ridge farmer facebook group!!
Hey Josh, great video bud. So nice to have a full cab eh. Last year I bought a John Deere 3039R with a cab. My 3039 review video is finally starting to get some traction and is up to 12k views, Yes! I don’t want to sweat in the heat and I don’t want snow blowing back in my face when blowing snow. It’s assembled in the US but definitely all the parts are made all over the world. Do you have to get the third function as an add on? I’m looking at getting a grapple and don’t have the front hydraulics. I guess I’ll have to get it installed with the purchase. I just always wanted a green tractor and now I have one, woo. Cheers, Chad.
I bought a Branson tractor in 2017 and against my better judgment went with the hydrostatic transmission I’m sure glad I did after getting used to it I don’t know that I could ever go back to a standard shift transmission in a tractor
Man...Scott seems you're quite down on a few things....bad ideas, bad tires all sorts of bad...it's really a great tractor. Not much snow pushing going on here in my area of NC, but any machine like this is gonna slip a bit in the snow for sure my brotha...unless running tracks. I've got a track skid loader for that
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer love the upgrades they did to the cab better seat better layout. Would love the handle for the 3pt but I know the reality of that handle on your tractor if you actually use it around brush and tree lines
Love your new toy. You will be driving it to town. That log barn is awesome. Never noticed it before. Please include footage of it in a video.
Check the channel...I have a video out from 3 years ago or so..I think it's here: th-cam.com/video/O0QGJCEaxmg/w-d-xo.html

Very nice tractor, love the third function and rear remotes. Wish my Kubota Grand L6060 came standard with those! Remember on a turbo charged tractor, after working hard let it idle for a while to cool down before shutting off. Less stress on the turbo charger.
it's a option wich dealer could get it set up if wanted
Very nice
I need one of those tractors to pull my new Titan 1912 flex wing cutter!
I've been waiting to see that new rig on a video that thing looks like a good tractor josh. My only issue is the price per month but for a nice tractor you r gonna pay for it. Now I'm ready for the next video. Have a great day buddy
Nice tractor
The hydraulic filter looks like it could get hit easily but only time will tell.
If it's in the Mahindra family I'm way jealous- I want that big one with gear drive- but I'm wondering about getting them serviced-Im not nice to my tractors great vid
Hey Josh thank you for the video I enjoyed it and good luck with that tractor there
Best feature for Some is zero down, zero payments..... With age if the Forward- reverse are electrically controlled problems may arise....We have a JD 110 TLB and it has been to the shop 2 times for failure to either reverse or forward.... each trip was $2000 bucks.. So sort of leary of any pedal controlled hydro......
This is mechanical my brotha....just ran off the pump with mechanical lever I'm told
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer That would will work better and longer......
Josh, I really like the TYM Tractor. Well thought out engineering. I know you would've bought an American Made tractor, if it were possible. Sadly, it's not even possible. We as a nation, need to do something to change that.
My question is this:
What is the maximum weight capacity/ capability of this tractor?
keep on watching my brotha....I go over all that info....around 3k for rear 3pt and around 2700 at max lift on the loader according to what I'm reading
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Thanks Josh! I always look forward to watching your videos!
Very Awesome Video
Great tractor and a nice review
Best review of this tractor. I'm learning before I buy. Is it OK to plow, disc till etc. with hydro trans.
you can do anything you'd like with hydrostatic, but a geared tractor would be better and easier to run for plowing and discing larger areas. I wouldn't wanna plow with this...I'd want a geared tractor that maintains a constant speed
Well I can tell you that cab sure makes my Murray look and feel not so good. But my Murray cost a lot less and I do not have to do near the work you do. I just wished we could make something in this country other than debts, Thanks for the video's
nice looking tractor I like everything on it except the transmission
Hi..... Josh, thank you for showing your video homestead chickens duck farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐕🐐🐄🐖🐝🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍
Very nice tractor great video Josh!
Very nice tractor Josh. Its been 45 years since American Made tractors were available. Try as you may, you'd have a hard time finding a pair of American Made shoes.
If you had a rear bale spear, it would help provide ballest and you could move two bales at once
Good looking tractor.
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Hey Josh! Check out, "Pioneer Engineer Club Of Rushville Indiana", and you can see the Ol' Rumley in action!
I think that the new 25 hp Summitt tractor is made totally in the US.
I have a Mahindra and have found a few TYM parts on it
Hey Josh, great video bud. Cheers, Chad.
yes it's an add on factory installed
I bought a Branson tractor in 2017 and against my better judgment went with the hydrostatic transmission I’m sure glad I did after getting used to it I don’t know that I could ever go back to a standard shift transmission in a tractor
I have a Branson. Good tractor, not enough dealers.
@@jamesb.armstrong5433 I agree with you on that the closest dealership to me is 3 hours away
I got these r4 as well and tbh they suck in the snow without chains. So just keep that in mind
Man...Scott seems you're quite down on a few things....bad ideas, bad tires all sorts of bad...it's really a great tractor. Not much snow pushing going on here in my area of NC, but any machine like this is gonna slip a bit in the snow for sure my brotha...unless running tracks. I've got a track skid loader for that
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer just being honest I have a T554 like the tractor just giving my honest opinion ppl need to know what their getting
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer love the upgrades they did to the cab better seat better layout. Would love the handle for the 3pt but I know the reality of that handle on your tractor if you actually use it around brush and tree lines
Haha I just got done unloading horse hay like just got back from unloading hay with a John Deere 4230 atutomatic transmission and saw this video
