Enjoyed your video Evan. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and honesty. You're not just a talented man but, also a very good teacher. Honesty and sincerity goes a long way with many that have learned the same way. Honesty and sincerity will come back to you in many helpful ways. Blessings to you, Rebecca and your family. Praying for your health, strength safety, wisdom, peace and success. ☝️🙏🙌❤️🇺🇸💪🎯
Good video, seeing something done makes doing it so much easier. To top it off, I got to learn an issue without having to experience it myself. Thanks for telling on yourself so I'm smarter without having those issues. Thanks for explaining and showing how the landplane works and has issues. I've seen others but your video showed me how they function, my understanding is now clear. Thank you.
Evan i really appreciate that you film your entire projects. Even showing your mistakes and successes. Your a Good Guy. Keep making Great videos. Thank you to you and Rebecca.
One can see how much you have learned from when you began building the pole barn and now.. Failure is nothing more then adding experience to your endeavors. Working a job and making things work on your farm is commendable.
The rear hydraulics are a sweet addition to your TYM 2515, I like it, maybe I could do the same with my JD 1020. I like your honesty, refreshing to hear, the draft control has stumped a lot of us, present company included. Good job Evan, have a nice evening!
Hello Evan enjoyed your video. Dont worry everyone has thouse moments you would laugh at the moment I had not long ago with my tractor. Have a great day.
Truth in action, good teacher, honest, very instructive. Not what we here on daily basis from many sources. Music to my ears for and old 76 year old DIY mechanically inclined person. God bless you and your family.
Cool video Evan. I put a hydraulic top link on my tractor about 4 years ago. Their is no going back to that old top link once you use the hydraulic top link.
Great job as usual, Evan. A hydraulic top link is definitely one of my favorite tractor add-ons. I use it with everything except my hay mower. My all time favorite is the 3rd function hydraulics on the loader - so many possibilities and handy attachments.
It is so good to hear that other people fall foul of the dummy syndrome. As I get older, 78, I find it happens more than ever. I am surprised with the Amazon slow deliveries, in the UK we can have Amazon Prime that offers next day delivery and other TV benefits too. Keep them coming Matt
Things like that happen Evan, been there done that and it gets frustrating . Glad you got it figured out without damaging anything. It will make things handier having the third function back there too. Stay safe and keep up the great videos with your work around the property. Fred.
A decent size leaf blower works great when you get a decent amount of weeds. Just stop lift up your plane and blow the grass away and makes things a little easier not perfect but easier. Love your channel I have learned a lot from you thanks for the videos!
"Target fixation" is caused by becoming focused on one thing that is usually distracting, dangerous, or rewarding. Focus can be caused by "anticipated success" 😀 Been there, done that!
I've found that you can do everything with the rear blade.. For that driveway lower one side and dig up the grass on the sides... Then run it stright forward, then stright backwards.... Driveway will look new....
Tractor Time with _ has a video with decent explanations on the hydraulic top link. Yes I did same with valve on a jd2840 maaaany years ago. Did not have a set of manuals. Tore into hydraulic cylinder and long story finally figured it out it was the valve. I bought tractor at a auction and they did not work but bought anyways. Lots of lessons on that job.
I was sorry to hear of your Amazon delivery issues. I am in U.K. (not in a town or city) and most things I order are delivered within a couple of days and with Amazon Prime I can have next day delivery if I prefer.
I ran industrial tractors for 50 plus years. This will be the best thing you ever did. The next thing you need to add is a hydraulic tilt cylinder for a lift arm. Gannon also makes a scraper with hydraulic ripper teeth on a box cylinder 😊
Evan next time try it with tines the whole way down only using them first and not the blades. Do 2-3 passes to loosen everything up grass clods/ gravel then it should be easier to only use the blades, tines in the up position! Good luck man love the videos!
I think you will really enjoy those remotes. I went to my Branson dealer, they still haven't switched to TYM yet, and talked to the mechanic and he showed me all the things i needed to do to install it. A few months later, Tony's Tractor Adventure did a video on how to do it, he had problems just like i did but he made it look easier than when i did mine. Good call on removing the seat right away, it has to be done for the install. I have been looking at that same top link for my 2515h, let us know what you think about it in a few months. A hydraulic side link can also be added with the kit you got, which is real nice. The backhoe can even hook into the valve that is controlled by the lever on the right, it has a notch that can run continuous flow. Now you can run a tilt/bank flail mower or a wood splitter on the back of that tractor. I hope you enjoy it. Keep the great videos coming.
Even better than the valve. Is forgetting the stopper on the 3pt lever and then trying to swap attachments and not understand why the arms won’t go all the way down
I ordered something from Amazon last month, and I'm still waiting on it, even though they have removed the money from my account. I'm in northwest Florida, and last I checked, it was in an Amazon warehouse in Alabama. That was a week ago.
Like the video Evan Mine his Kubota B24 and I add problem with the Hydraulic and it went down but it cam up very slowly . and I turn that knob lower betwen on an off turn it up and it was only that .and I have bauth it in 2000.and its 1999 . 1400hrs on it now .
You will find out that top link will be handy used with the rear hay spear. You can level the spear to insert into a bale then raise the point up to keep the bale from slipping off.
You have become the consummate TH-camr thinking of ways to increase watch hours by having a confessional epilogue. Tractors and projects, nothing more satisfying to both the farmer and viewers.
I have had to shut down and walk away from my Massey Ferguson 2607H, several times to let the 3 point lift relax and lower itself. I need to see if that "valve" exists on my machine. I have been wanting to get a hydraulic upper link for a few years. Just haven't splurged for it yet. Congratulations on the upgrade.
I'm surprised TYM doesn't have a kit to add rear hydraulics. I'm also surprised of your issues with Amazon. They've been great over here in western IN, often delivering days ahead of schedule. 🤔 Another great video, Evan.
Hey evan you got that tractor new I can't believe how dirty that was under the seat holy cow. You need to maintain your driveway more often hey watch Mike from out with the morgans 😊
I have a John Deere 318 garden tractor with a hydraulic deck lift and I was mowing one day I lost the power steering on the mower and it was almost impossible to turn I thought something was going out on my mower after checking everything over the deck lift didn’t completely release and robbed the hydraulic flow from the steering. I’ve been wanting to get a hydraulic top link for my tractor it wears me out adjusting my top link to use the rippers on my box blade then back for blading
Evan, as usual, another great show. Thank you. I have a favour to ask of you. First of all, consider the security implications of the request and, if you feel that in ANY away AT ALL, it reduces your security, please just say NO!! But, if you in some way could make a map , doesn’t need to be accurate, of your property, I, and am sure, a lot of your other fans, would be very grateful. I just get a bit confused where this shed or road is/leads/ends etc , where the pond/ lake is/leads etc. Again, if you have concerns, just say NO. Thank you very much for even considering it. Sincerely, Rod.
Evan, I have gotten stuff from the other side of the world via DHL in less time than it takes to get it from 3 states away here in the US. Our shipping companies are not very efficient and don't care about customer service.
I have done that so many times when I switch implements. As soon as you said wouldn't lower, I knew it. I even brought my tractor in for service because I was so lost on the first time. Glad you avoided that part and unnecessary expense.
I live in Oklahoma and sometimes I can get a package from overseas quicker than I can get a package from two states away. Comifornia and New York or the worst to get packages from.
Question, From your amazon link i found the hydraulic cylinder but ,did not the see the hydraulic manifold and the controls, what brand product are they? Txs.
Hey Evan i got the same cab tractor you have the 654 would you install the top link cylinder on it so i can see it work. i might get one if it does a good job. also i really enjoy your channel keep up the good work, and its nice to know im not the only one to make mistakes Lol.
Interesting. But, if I ever have the urge to mess with my hydraulics - I will go lay down until the urge passes.
😂
Enjoyed your video Evan. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and honesty. You're not just a talented man but, also a very good teacher. We appreciate you telling on yourself. That way we learn when you learn.
Your transparency makes your channel #1😊
It’s refreshing to hear you share when you have problems. We’ve all been there and done that more than we’d like to admit.
Hi, Evan! You always amaze me when you work on your farm equipment. You have a HUGE skill set.
Glad you decided to add hydraulic top link!!!!!! God bless !!!!! Eddy
Good video, seeing something done makes doing it so much easier. To top it off, I got to learn an issue without having to experience it myself. Thanks for telling on yourself so I'm smarter without having those issues. Thanks for explaining and showing how the landplane works and has issues. Thumbs up for your honesty
That Branson/TYM 15 series never fails to impress. If they'd move the loader control to the fender, they'd have a class-killer.
Evan i really appreciate that you film your entire projects. Even showing your mistakes and successes. Your a Good Guy. Keep making Great videos. Thank you to you and Rebecca.
its all about learning thats life my friend!
One can see how much you have learned from when you began building the pole barn and now.. Failure is nothing more then adding experience to your endeavors. Working a job and making things work on your farm is commendable.
If it were me, I'd spray the edge of the driveway with weedkiller regularly. Up to you whether you're comfortable with that
Hydraulic top link is the handiest thing ever invented. Had one on my Kioti, which I just sold. Need to get one for my New Holland now.
Good to know the Case will handle the driveway chore. 👍👍👍
Hi Evan, great videos. You could use that toplink with your bale spear, and you wouldn't have to redesign where the toplink goes.
The rear hydraulics are a sweet addition to your TYM 2515, I like it, maybe I could do the same with my JD 1020. I like your honesty, refreshing to hear, the draft control has stumped a lot of us, present company included. Good job Evan, have a nice evening!
You did it!
Hello Evan enjoyed your video. Dont worry everyone has thouse moments you would laugh at the moment I had not long ago with my tractor. Have a great day.
Isn't it a revelation when the "light" comes on. Something to add to my wishlist.
Amazing work. I see the wood shed is still waiting on you to get started
Same, that wood shed kills me. Haha. Great video, and more important things always come up.
Truth in action, good teacher, honest, very instructive. Not what we here on daily basis from many sources. Music to my ears for and old 76 year old DIY mechanically inclined person. God bless you and your family.
Evan you are a legend. Love your honesty
I am retired now. But when I was working I would have loved doing projects with you. You have a great outlook.
Cool video Evan. I put a hydraulic top link on my tractor about 4 years ago. Their is no going back to that old top link once you use the hydraulic top link.
Hi.... Evan and Rebecca thanks you for showing your video homestead bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
Hay Evan nice job on grading your drive way love those tractors you have thank you for sharing blessings to you and your family
Great job as usual, Evan. A hydraulic top link is definitely one of my favorite tractor add-ons. I use it with everything except my hay mower. My all time favorite is the 3rd function hydraulics on the loader - so many possibilities and handy attachments.

Well, I'm not surprised, we still are a farming country... Great video, again.
Things like that happen Evan, been there done that and it gets frustrating . Glad you got it figured out without damaging anything. It will make things handier having the third function back there too. Stay safe and keep up the great videos with your work around the property. Fred.

My father always told me " the hardest learned lessons are the ones best remembered", he was right, that may apply here.
Looks like that is going to a very nice improvement. I think we've all had those times where like you were talking about at the end. Great work
you still did a good job putting it together
Thanks for sharing the issues you had off camera. It lets us learn also. I enjoyed the connect lesson as I might purchase that for my 2515h.
Thanks Evan! Hello Rebekah!
"Target fixation" is caused by becoming focused on one thing that is usually distracting, dangerous, or rewarding. Focus can be caused by "anticipated success" 😀 Been there, done that!
Loved the story at the end! We've all been there.
I like watching your videos, don’t be so hard on yourself, we all have the DUH moments, mine was a surveillance camera last week 🙄
That Grader Box is very Unique and looks like it does a great job of filling in any pot hole that develop in your driveway
great job grading ur drive way Evan. ur tractor did ok..
I've found that you can do everything with the rear blade.. For that driveway lower one side and dig up the grass on the sides... Then run it stright forward, then stright backwards.... Driveway will look new....

Congrates! On getting things working. It never fails that something really small thing can cause so much of a problem. It happens to us all.
We never have problems with Amazon shipping and we live in a tiny town in rural Oklahoma.
When are you going to show us how you sorted out the lake ?
Yup, 3 pnt speed control, that happened to me. Google is your friend.
Good video . thanks Evan.
I ran industrial tractors for 50 plus years. This will be the best thing you ever did. The next thing you need to add is a hydraulic tilt cylinder for a lift arm. Gannon also makes a scraper with hydraulic ripper teeth on a box cylinder 😊
What hydraulic kit did you install? Was it from TYM?
Never used a powered top link. Looks very useful. Great video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Evan next time try it with tines the whole way down only using them first and not the blades. Do 2-3 passes to loosen everything up grass clods/ gravel then it should be easier to only use the blades, tines in the up position! Good luck man love the videos!
The old tunnel vision is a curse but we all have it from time to time.
I think you will really enjoy those remotes. I order from Amazon and usually get it in 3 to 4 day's. I get shipments 3 to 4 times a week.
Hi, enjoy your videos, my question, tho, is where are those beautiful dogs?
Even better than the valve. Is forgetting the stopper on the 3pt lever and then trying to swap attachments and not understand why the arms won’t go all the way down
That looks pretty cool
Lesson well learned. And passed on! Love the channel.
I ordered something from Amazon last month, and I'm still waiting on it, even though they have removed the money from my account. I'm in northwest Florida, and last I checked, it was in an Amazon warehouse in Alabama. That was a week ago.
Great job
Thanks Evan
Great job Evan, and Amazon doesn't work for me too ....👍🏻🥃
Evan when I make a configuration change on my 3 tractors I put a note in my phone.
Great Video as Always.....
Like the video Evan Mine his Kubota B24 and I add problem with the Hydraulic and it went down but it cam up very slowly . and I turn that knob lower betwen on an off turn it up and it was only that .and I have bauth it in 2000.and its 1999 . 1400hrs on it now .

Tractor Supply is a Good source for farm equipment also
Evan your so right about Amazon, the main reason I shop with Amazon are the choices, shipping is a joke. They still advertise two day shipping 😂
For the chickens you can tuck their head under the wing and swing back and forth and the will sleep for a minute or two so you can weigh them.
Rock hill farms also installed a hydraulic cylinder on one of the lift arms. It let him crown driveway.
I had the exact same problem with my 3 point arms. I felt like a complete toolbox after I spent a couple hours looking for the "problem"
Grass? ROUNDUP!
Don,t underestimate the Nederlands the biggest agricultural producer in Europe.
Hello Evan
I'm surprised TYM doesn't have a kit to add rear hydraulics. I'm also surprised of your issues with Amazon. They've been great over here in western IN, often delivering days ahead of schedule. 🤔
Another great video, Evan.
You’re cool!
Amazon shipping is almost same day in Calif.
Evan you got it From my country where i life haha The netherlands oke the video is nice like always thank you
Don’t know how much the unit costs, but to be more efficient, I would purchase another unit to put on the other tractor.
Hey evan you got that tractor new I can't believe how dirty that was under the seat holy cow. You need to maintain your driveway more often hey watch Mike from out with the morgans 😊
❤VIDEOS,, thank you
I use RM 43 spray on the edges of my driveway. It will kill everything for up to a year. Works great for me.
Gotta laugh after the fact ! Frustrating for sure , but patience, perseverance kept you from being defeated !
I have a John Deere 318 garden tractor with a hydraulic deck

So you have the kit number for the hydraulic valve kit?
I live in Oklahoma and sometimes I can get a package from overseas quicker than I can get a package from two states away. Comifornia and New York or the worst to get packages from.
Question, From your amazon link i found the hydraulic cylinder but ,did not the see the hydraulic manifold and the controls, what brand product are they? Txs.
Yeah, remember when Amazon claimed 2 day shipping with Prime?
