Absolutely love these engines. Love the simplicity of the mechanical injection and how they do the DPF regions. So much potential with this set up. Kukje are very reliable from our experience. They not only contracted to build Cummins engines. They also built a model or two of John Deere tractors in Europe.
I like everything about the 474 and 574 except how far the hydraulic hoses stick out with no protection. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen. But my disdain for EGR system may make me overlook that. I really like the simplicity of the Kukje engine and no turbos on the 474 makes it even more attractive.
Love my T474 Cab HST, however after 400 hours on not rough work whatsoever, the bucket lower frame has 4 bolts on each side, 3 of 4 were broken on each side and the stabilizer bar on the lower left side broke in half. Again, I do not work this tractor at all, just letting you all know to keep an eye on this, the bolts that failed were grade 6, I replaced with Grade 8, the dealer told me these are not sheer. Strange they used grade 6.
My only wish: I wish the backhoe was more vertical when pulled up in transport position.. I’m sure it’s an awesome backhoe but shortening the length with a vertical capable backhoe would be better for me.
Has anyone run a heavy duty 6 foot Rotary cutter with a TYM 474 HST? PTO hp is 36hp and some of the heavier rotary cutters I have looked at require 40hp at the PTO. ????
Thinking of trading in my 4520 C Branson for a 75 hp or highr tractor but I don't know if I want put up with Def system . Drove a truck for 40 years and retired now but the def systems on over the road truck put on the side of road or on hook so many times. This was one of the main reasons I went ahead and retired along with my wife being very sick that I had take care of. Married 52 years
It actually just sold. Sorry. Are new ones are on sale at a great price: www.centralnhtrailers.com/2022-tym-tractors-t474hc-tractor-w-backhoe-hydrostatic-trans-factory-cab-loader-y50o.html
I was wanting to buy a T25 tractor with the Yanmar engine. After watching this video now I’m skeptical about buying it? I may just have to go with the T264 instead? 🤦🏻♂️
@@SR1Equipment Are they putting welded on guards around the valve stems on the wheels? When I looked at one at a local dealer, it did not have those guards and I found that to be disappointing.
Coming up on my 50 hour service on the 474. Are you aware of the 3 point issue with the new valve body they are installing in both tym and bransons? Mine has the new valve body.....it's TERRIBLE. I can't finesse control my 3 point at all. My dealer said engineers at TYM are aware of the complaints, and will NOT be addressing the issue. Just thought you might like to know that not all TYM owners are happy about it. Pisses me off in fact.....
Some great info here Reid. Thanks for the quote on the 494 yesterday. We’ll definitely be talking soon! -Jack
Thank you sir. It's a nice package you have spec'd out. Look forward to speaking with you again.
You did a good job going over that 47hp tractor

Excellent and honest informative presentation thank you.
Thanks!

I thought the same thing when I saw those hoses sticking out down there. I would have those torn off in no time. 😁

Great video, very helpful. Learned a lot!
Would love to see a video of the TYM 5835 when you get time.
Yes sir! Going to work through our most popular models first but will absolutely do that one for you eventually. :)
Thank you for the video. If I buy a Tym and trailer from y’all, do you deliver out of state?
Enjoyed the video thanks
Need a vid on the 65 and 75hp models

Thanks. Very informative!
Thanks for watching!

Can it regen while working?
With the manual fuel system do they start well in cold weather?

Nice video, How many remote do it comes with?
Thanks. It comes with 1 set of remotes standard.
What are you asking for the used one with back hoe?

No emissions under 25hp. I don't have much preference between the T25 engine and the T264 engine. Both are good.
Why do some TYM tractors have red rims and other have silver (which look better)?
As of very recently, they are starting to come with red. As the factory stock of silver depletes, they will all start coming with red from then on.

How is the parts availability on Tym.
Very good!
Thinking about trading my t25 for a 474
What’s not to like about simple.
Common rail will always out proform a mechanical injection i j engine needs only needs is crank/fuel/air . You burn more fuel
