Great guide. Very clear and by sheer conincidence a great advert for your cars 😊 I'll come to you when i want a mechanically great car, dont care about carbon, when it gets bought will be kept for life and push through 100k miles so stone chips unlikely to be an issue either. Given that i drive much like a biker, I'll see if i can get 100k on ceramics😊 or get a 540 and have you optimise it...
@@ThorneyMotorsport Thanks for the reply. Yeah, just 50 made and sold worldwide so probably not many RHD models in the first place =/ I really like that they were worked on by Peter Stevens. A 25% premium seems quite reasonable to me.
Hi so i see youre selling quite a few cars under £80k is this just due to the economy and market? Or whats changed as you say stay away from sub 80k cars
If you read the comments on the sub £80k section on our website we are quite clear in saying that there are non car related circumstances around those at the cheaper level, in other words some people just want the money. The cars are bargains under £80k regardless of model.
Was going to buy a 570 GT- or S, as my first "supercar", but after all these negative comments on reliability, build quality, I think I'll stick to a super saloon- my Audi RS7. ok.. it's a hatchback, but it's fast, roomy, well built, versatile, and have had ZERO problems in just over 26 months..
@@EvoraGT430 well sweety, I'd be the first to say the interior is a trifle dull- but with 4 wheel drive, and +600 bhp, it sure isn't DULL. I've specified a higher top speed (177mph)- and have done that on the autobahn- felt very stable, very secure. Unlike feeling skittish in a Ferrari 430, or a 911 Careers 2.. so I'll stick to that, and not a so called supercar that needs constant expensive maintenance, and a careful right foot.
@@ThorneyMotorsport Thank you for the reply and sure for your reading but that doesn’t tie into the purpose/title of the video which is residual values of all McLarens range for sale in the UK. I liked the video and clarity but it just felt like an oversight as they are plummeting in value. I’m in the market for a 720s could I ask your opinion on seat choice. Leather Bucket or luxury (I can’t handle the Senna seats)?

This information is invaluable for anyone wanting to buy a McLaren - brilliant for the brand in my opinion to have specialists like Thorney about.
Not sure why I watched that all the way through! Can’t afford a second hand dacia let alone McLaren! But enjoyed it🧐
The Sandero is some car!
Outstanding as usual, John. Thank you. I'm in Canuclkistan, but the guide is incredibly useful even here.
I bought a McLaren before the $100,000 luxury tax. There's worse cars for going over speed bumps in Canada.
I would love to see a schedule based on the buying value, and the cost of the upkeep over a mileage range.Yes its like falling in love

These type of videos are interesting and informative. Even tho i am not going to purchase one.(price range issue only) 👍👍
Great video .................. Could you ship these cars to Australia
@@turningpointaustralia9531 yes we can last 12c sold will be on its way in a week or so
Great video 👍🏻 interesting comments on the GT personally I love this car and think there is real value in them
Great video. I now know who to call!
What a superb video, thank you.
What would the price be on a good condition/properly serviced 650S Le Mans coupe? That's the particular model I'd really like. Great video btw.
@@IamtheLordofDoom Le Mans models are tough to value and there are not many out there, but the seem to attract a 20-25% premium to the base model

cheers very useful video 🔥
Filmed on a potato pro 🙄
For promoting a quality product, bloody terrible video quality!!!! Very informative & enjoyable to watch, "okay"?

Are you filming in VHS in 2024 lol
Can you define high mileage? does it vary per model?
38k+ any model.

Ok, so I'm a fan that can only dream but if I was in the market I'd only buy thru Thorney Motorsport. 🍷🎸🇬🇧😎

Is it in the standard dull grey, like the rest of the car is dull?

At £10k per axle you are better off going for the Surface Transforms discs
Agreed, that's what we do
Would love a maccie . But I'll have to keep it real and stick to my audi tt. 😁
250k cars, 2,75£ camera
