  • If you would like to practice VBand or on the (Air 10, 12, 15, 17 20 or 40) on or around below Frequencies email me schedule some practice time real world at shope02@yahoo.com
Just let me know what UTC time and day and well give it a try!
I'm learning the Farnsworth method of sending which takes into account two factors:
I believe the below is correct:
    1. How many words are sent in one minute using PARIS as an example, this is the (Effective / Actual Words Per Minute) and I'm sending at 7 - 8 WPM
    2. The individual space between EACH Dits and Dahs of ONE character this is the (Standard / Rhythm in you ear Words Per Minute) I send at about 13 WPM, this faster rate between the Dits snd Dah's
This allows a fast enough rate to capture the melodic tone of the character) with enough time between each character to process the character from head to pen to paper.
Offer a practice environment on the air with real world QSB, QRM and QRN conditions at a speed that can be copied new HAM's learning CW with live environment signal fading QSB other QSO's near . I use a Vibroflex Straight Key. Been working with CW for over a year now I am now just able to start copying the characters on paper at a character speed of 14-16 with a spacing between 4 - 6 WPM. Challenge I have now is on air is the many variations and characters used on a CW QSO often many of the QSO’s I try to engage in very hard for me to pick out with my ear. The speed can vary between characters and QSB can signal fading can also cause problems.
Below is the proposed schedule I will plan to be on the air:

Il faut bien débuter et la 1ère fois n'est jamais évidente. Mais plus tu feras de QSOs en CW, plus tu prendras de l'expérience, tu vas acquérir de la vitesse et d'ici quelque temps tu mettras la pioche de côté pour passer sur paddle. On est tous passé par là je te rassure. En tout cas BRAVO à toi et j'espère te contacter un jour en CW sur la fréquence. 73s. Joël/F8MGW.
