Thanks Dr Harari. It’s worth saying that although there was a democracy in ancient Greece it was also a slave state. The democracy was enjoyed by a few thousand gentlemen as the slaves provided the muscle and the surplus that powered the country, and democracy, for the few. These few thousand free men had time to think and used it well.
AI should make the system less capitalistic. Capitalism drives the innovation but it's only effective to some extent. Technology also molds human nature and way of thinking. So all of this go hand in hand.

If democracy depends on technology, how come the ancient Athenians had it? How come the Romans had it?
If one considers 'writing' a technology, it's true, it's the only one required. Before the writing, all of it was tribes.
