We shot them down because these flying control centers can messed us up, they become primary target to be destroyed. They need a lot of protections to function. What we feel when our hard earn minerals to build them just wasted when our similar units destroyed by the enemy?😆

The C-130J is NOT fly-by-wire. It is a boosted system similar to power steering in your car. Ailerons control the roll of the plane. The inboard and outboard flaps are physically connected. They can not move independently from each other. C-130s do not have slats aka leading edge flaps. On take-off, pilots will already have some ammount of flaps deployed to help with lift at low speeds. The ailerons do not act as flaps on this plane as shown in the animation. They would be called flaperons if they doubbled as flaps. The elevators control the pitch of the airplane. Moving the elevators up increasses the pitch angle of the plane.

Great video but there are some technical mistakes. Mainly, C130's, even J models like the Ghostrider and Super Hercules do not have slats. They only have flaps. The leading edge of a C130 is a "hot wing" in that is has a tube running down it carrying hot bleed air for anti-ice/Deice purposes but it doesn't move (which is what a slat does). Source: I fix and fly on HC-130J aircraft which the AC-130J is based off.
Phalanx has a range of 2 miles. A stealth fight would take out the AC-130j from a distance with AMRAAMS and even IF it had to move in for a short IR missile shot, it can do so safety out of the Phalanx range.
Not me, I was a crew member on the ac-130u spooky. Flying then long before modern warfare came out. By the way you have some details wrong regarding the AC-J. It does not have a 25mm bushmaster, it is a 30mm.

I think the weakest point of the plane is its back, so even a grenade coming from above can cause serious damage.
