MK1A will surely have the Uttam. The initial plan was to have the first 20 lot of MK1A to have Israeli radar and the rest Uttam. Now the Uttam has even progressed into its Mark 2 variant. So there is a great chance that the whole MK1A will have Uttam MK2. Already two prototypes of MK1A is flying with Uttam radar. Even Sukhoi upgrade is going to get Uttam 3 which is in works.
    "Abinash"
    1. Engine is F404 not F414
    2. Currently Mk1 A uses an elta elm AESA radar not Uttam radar.
    "Arijit Kanrar"
he Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) in the tailfin (and other places) does not emit anything (its a passive system). Its job is to listen for incoming radar waves to find out who is currently out there and get the direction.
    "EXECUTE"
Tejas has the lowest RCS most 4.5generation fighters 0.5 m^2 Which gives advantage in BVR combat... First look first shoot... Capability.
    Astra Mk2 - 160 km
    "Nexoft Alam "
It's Compound Delta Wing design is designed to perform exceptionally better at high altitude Himalaya zones. The Delta Wing gives its lower wing loading for better maneuverability and its turn radius is smaller than F16. It's payload is highest in the light combat aircraft/ LCA class due to high composite content. The inner pylon is capable of carrying 1.2 ton oil tank, which is not seen in other LCA class. The FADEC, advanced auto pilot and auto-recovery is the reason why not a single LCA have crashed so far. Brahmos NG will have over 350km range @Mach 4.5 due cuz of a new classified fuel being developed. The same fuel will power Brahmos Block IV with over 900km range at Mach 4.5
    "Arijit Kanrar"
A few corrections. The Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) in the tailfin (and other places) does not emit anything (its a passive system). Its job is to listen for incoming radar waves to find out who is currently out there and get the direction.

      U are right about Brahmose.
The Brahmose A Can be carried only by double engine aircraft such as Su30mki.
But Brahmos NG will be able to be carried by Single engine aircrafts.
Including Tejas mk1A, Mk2 or Mirage 2000. And 3 on Jaguars.(if Jaguars will be operational beyond 2028).

Go and look at who was there to start MARUT and who was there to stop Indian projects
Now we are well aware what to do
Yaa your point is really great that with marut we got some experience and that experience is utilised in LIGHT COMBAT AIRCRAFT
But it was just for training purposes
And after that we modified and make TEJAS MK-1 that can be used in both situation and then we modified and make it mk-1A which is ocmbat aircraft
And now we are making medium weight TEJAS MK-2 with single engine but better performance with advance technology solid-state gallium arsenide based active electronically scanned array radar (UTTAM AESA RADAR)
We have not mastered in ENGINE So for that we are taking AMERICAN GE-414 INS6
OUR FUTURE JET IS 5.5 GENERATION FIGHTER JET WHICH IS AMCA (ADVANCE MEDIUM COMBAT AIRCRAFT)
Hope so we will having this great leader in future also for better development in military and in geopolitics also 🙂

Tejas navy version is more or less scraped.
India is building a separate twin engine plane for navy.
And it also has a LIFT version.

The Indians just landed the Tejas navy version on an aircraft carrier. It is the only fixed wing aircraft to do this feat in this day and age. You Indians, I find, are always pessimistic. If my country did the same we would be selling it as the greatest plane of this size and capability in the world.

Great video. Tejas mk1 and Mk1a also need a very minimalistic infrastructure upgrades of Air bases because it can utilize all previous infrastructure developed for migs 😃. In upcoming year's many foreign components going to replace by the Indigenous components. Some may criticized it with price but the order size really that not large yet and secondly we paid 49 million dollars for Mirage upgrades😃. It's serviceability also highest in the Indian Air Force. Maximum weapons package going to be indigenous. In upcoming years it's going to use as a mother ship carrier for drones. Work on Man Unmanned teaming system also started and some components also even tested.

Indian Tejas is very slowly getting catch-up by South Korean's KAI KF21 Boramae and Turkiye's TAI Hurjet.... I heard many countries are interested but because of India slow and delayed production many might goes to other countries offerings😸
Indonesian are in collaboration with South Korea, many countries in ASEAN might choose KAI KF21 especially Philippines already tested KAI T50 Golden Eagle.... I heard Philippines is interested in Tejas that is capable of using BrahMos NG missile like Egypt who's are interested too

    • @marcd5196
      @marcd5196 ปีที่แล้ว +2

KF21 is a larger twin engine fighter. It will be better, but costlier to buy , operate and maintain.
TAI Hurjet is a Trainer. Its not suitable for frontline combat, but it should be cheaper.
All 3 jets - KF21,Hurjet and Tejas are for different markets.
If you wanna compare similar fighters of Korea and India...it would be KAI F50 Block 20 and Tejas mk1A , but Tejas mk1A is much better.

Most of countries want Tejas it's Stealthy due composite fibre body it look football size in radar, advanced radar, deadly missiles like Brahmos Ng which even USA don't have, Astra,Derby,R71,Asraam,hammer,spice 2000etc also it have air -to-air refueling capabilities, delta wing give Tejas more manuver,Tejas look sexy than other compittive jet ,let's go the point most of countries having interest in Tejas but they choosen other jet due religious decision ,Tejas has Israeli Radar due to this Malaysia, Egypt not buying, their is alternative Made in India Uttam radar are under trial but it take time due to this countries buying other jet,but other hand argentina is Christian country highly interested in Tejas, i heard that India also developing AMCA which equal F35 and also developed Pilotless Tejas aircraft and CATS Warrier
