another kitchen hack I learned on tik tok - if you have stained tupperware from meal prepping chilli or bolognese etc, adding a piece of kitchen roll, some washing up liquid and some water, putting on the lid and shaking it for a few seconds does wonders at cleaning stains off🥰
I'm gonna try that hack 😅. I used to wet my knife when cutting them, helps as well. But for now I'm good with frozen cut up onions, garlic, etc. So easy 😏
I've got so many of your channel to catch up on, you were a lifesaver when I was pregnant preparing for our baby girl, she's 2 next month so going to have a proper binge and catch up, thank you so much for your channel xx
Oil and herb one was clever....I believe the wet paper towel one would work because I actually rinse my onion under the tap just before I chop and I haven’t cried since! ❤️👏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
They were all amazing. I loved the egg yolk one and the foil one - but mum says it depends what brand you get because they don’t all have that on the ends x
I love this hack video! I wish you would do many many more! This is so helpful. Another hack for getting skin off of cloves of garlic is to put the garlic cloves in a small plastic container with a lid and shake hard for 30 seconds or more. Open up the container and the skin should have fallen off the clothes.
Great tips. Enjoyed the video very much. I don't have a favourite as all the tips are useful. Never heard of the wet paper towel when cutting an onion.
Loving these hacks! Number two is my fave I love coffee! I saw your mind blowing hacks on Instagram the other day and I cannot believe I didn’t know any of them 🤦🏽♀️
Can’t wait to try them out. Like you I use the pizza cutter for everything apart from pizza 😂 pick it up from your channel 3 years ago. Life changing. Thank you for sharing. X
Celery will keep for weeks in the fridge if you take the entire stalk (don't wash or cut the root end off) and wrap it completely in tin foil. I was skeptical, but it really works.
The tip I got years ago about onions are if you put them in the fridge before you cut them, the fumes and juice won’t be as splashy wet and won’t get in your eyes
Thank you ever so much Emily for these trips and tricks , I'll definitely be using the wet tissue hack and hope I can peel an onion without crying, also the chicken shredding one is something I really want to try.
I’ll definitely have to try the wet kitchen roll as I struggle cutting onions sometimes haha!! Herbs ice cubes is a great one! I think I saw the herbs in water on Kerry Whelpdale’s channel, such a good idea! I’ve heard about the eggs floating or sinking. Love the cutter for the potato wedges! I love your top Emily too 💙xxx
Hi Emily, with onions, when your at the stage when you have taken the skin off and cut the onion in half. I run each half under cold water, so basically wetting it. Then chop it, no tears. Voilà.
This! The science behind this is that a sharper knife will disrupt less of the cells in the onion, releasing less of the enzymes that react with the tears in our eyes
Hi Emily, not related to the video but I thought you would find it funny. I always clean up in the evening to your 10 min speed clean and the other day my kids said they where cleaning their room and they where all upstairs singing “solution” from your video 😂😂 their 5,4 and nearly 2 x
I use the egg hack even though I store my eggs in the carton. I find they usually stay good for quite a few weeks past the expiry date on the egg carton!
Great ideas! But the sweet potato is much harder and it most probably won't work with the apple cutter. I can't wait to try some of the tricks you showed us!

I love this hack it really works 😊
Or soak a piece of kitchen roll with steriliser fluid and lay it flat on the surface, it will come up sparkling x
Whats kitchen roll
@@sesil0060 toilet roll but for the kitchen.

Frozen onions!!! It’s the only way forward. Fresher and easier
Honestly I’m so grateful haha, I’ve become so sensitive to onions so I’m excited to try this
I'm gonna try that hack 😅.

If you leave the "butt" of the onion on when chopping, you will not cry! So only cut off the top prior to chopping.
Oil and herb one was clever....I believe the wet paper towel one would work because I actually rinse my onion under the tap just before I chop and I haven’t cried since! ❤️👏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
Bloody love a hacks video! That coffee hack is genius! I will be doing that this summer 😍😍

Wow, I'll definitely try the onion hack, cutting a plastic bag and removing egg yolk. These were my favorites I think. :) Thanks for sharing Emily.
Also... 😉 The coriander in a seal tupperware with 2 eggs 🥚.... Not washed only cut a bit at the ends really keeps it fresh for longer

Blue looks so good on you!
The foil one is amazing, never knew that's what those tabs were for. Lol
Very clever, love you🥰🥰🥰
Hey Emily have you tried putting the garlic cloves into the microwave for 20-30s. Pinch the garlic and it’s come straight out of the skin!
The tip I got years ago about onions are if you put them in the fridge before you cut them, the fumes and juice won’t be as splashy wet and won’t get in your eyes
Love these and also love your top! You look great in it 😊
All of them are my favourite lol

That plastic bag hack is amazing!
Great video x
Another “hack” for chopping onions is to use a really sharp knife. It’ll cut cleanly through the onion and less eye watering stuff will splash out. 😊
This! The science behind this is that a sharper knife will disrupt less of the cells in the onion, releasing less of the enzymes that react with the tears in our eyes
Hi Emily I like your vedios can you share your skin care routine I like your glowing skin a lot 🌺

That strawberry hack works even better with a stainless steel, reusable straw :D
If Matt was not there to test the onion hack, who was filming the video? (Reflected in the fridge!)
In a recent video Emily said she has an assistant to hep her out
