Thank you for the video. I was wondering if you could replace the fans before I watched your video. Once I got everything apart I found out that you can remove the fans as well. They have smaller screws that are attached to the shroud which is soldered to the brass piping. Pop those 3 or 4 (depending on which fan you need to replace) screws out and boom fan comes right out. Definitely more cost effective to replace one fan than the whole unit, unless you absolutely have to.
Thank you for doing this video! I was replacing the DC jack on this model and one of the thermal pads fell off. I had no idea where it belonged until I saw you flip it over.. Thanks again.
Yes you can replace these fans individually, but you’ll have to unscrew the thermal lining anyway and a good practice is to clean & reapply the thermal paste to avoid air pockets under heat sink. You don’t have to replace the whole thermal lining like this video shows.
where i can find this spare part i really need it for my machine i have the same model of msi and my fan has let me down it makes an awful noise when it spins so please help me 🙏🏾
Thanks for the video! Unfortunately my motherboard is dead because it sparked when attaching the battery back to the motherboard😅 nothing could be helped though...
Same thing happened to me. Took the battery out. Put back in charged it up and it turned on after a few hours. Could always try and power it on without the battery connected
@@ElectroInfotech so what is the exact problem of that laptop ? I have the same problem , do i need to replace the fan , and what makes the laptop creating those sound
Please someone help me. I just disassembled my gf63 to change its thermal paste. But after I assembled it won't turn on and the charging indicator lamp didn't turn on too. Can someone give me suggestions what's wrong with my gf63?
Bro had to change one fan, but he replaced the whole thermal lining. Lack of knowledge can cost you a lot of money, don’t follow such stupid videos. These fans are individually replaceable in a very low cost.

Can i take the fans off if i dont plan on replacing the thermal paste?

I have been having grinding noise from the CPU fan , any idea what to do or what happened?
You’re fan probably had a bad bearing. Use the # on the back of your tan to find a new one and then install it.
Is it necessary to replace it or just cleaning is enough?
Cleaning is fine if u don't break the fans ig
@@falconr4534 if its make the sounds like in the video , does that mean the fan is broken . Or do i just need to cleaned it ?
