I just bought one for my daughter yesterday. So far so good. The fan noise isn't loud by any means, it literally sounds like wind like a light breeze outside. Not like a jet engine or a ps5 at all.
Great vid and walkthru! The y40 was in my price range, bought it to replace my 15yr old Asus RoG laptop. performance-wise: lovin' it!! However, i needed multiple programs to 'sync' my rgb lights. MSI center didnt recognize anything since ibuypower used a proprietary rgb controller located on back of mobo, had to use Nexus for rgb, AND MSI Afterburner for GPU fan monitoring and curve tweaks. Next, i checked my (base model) Nvidia 4070 specs, there is 30%-37% increase in the other 4070ti models for the gpu/shader/ai cores. CPU upgradeable down the line, so i'm not worried! (more worried about the AiO cooling system crapping out within 3 yrs.). Now, with all that said, I'm back to gaming with quality settings on my chosen games!
i bought one two days ago and it does amazing maxed out graphics on fortnite at 120 fps and playing maxed out graphics on apex legends and it does also great and i was streaming 1080p 60ps and still the game ran like butter
Good effort, however all these reviews miss the biggest point: Resolution-based performance. 1080 vs 1440 vs 4k. This computer (and it should have been said within the first 5 minutes) is the best performer for 1080 and 1440p. For 4k gaming, you want the more expensive computers, over $2000. The price for performance review is great, and the other recommendations are good. --All the best, Justin.
I hope he realizes how fortunate he is to have a PC with those specs at 16 years old. If I'm spending that much on a PC, whether I buy a prebuilt or build it myself, it better last for at least ten years.😂

I brought the updated version with the MSI Z590 Pro motherboard and a RTX 4070 super in april and i must say it has been great with only 1 problem, the MSI software that is loaded with the system is not that good and won't always do updates correctly. You are better doing updates like the bios yourself. The big plus...you can run anything with this system at max settings and having a super card in it just makes everything smoother.
I just purchased this from best buy, i actually traded in my my macbook pro m3, I wanted to get into flight simulator 2024 and also iRacing....just started age of empires IV too..the only thing I dont like is only 1 USB C port...guess not a big deal as I can get a hub!
Hey awesome vid, I am considering getting this PC but I want to make sure it's good enough to run the games that I play. I don't really care too much about graphics as I play games like League of Legends, Overwatch, Apex, Street Fighter, CSGO, etc. I was wondering on medium or even low settings will I be reaching 240 fps on those games? I have a dual monitor setup with 1 of them being 240hz and the other being 144hz. I want to utilize the main monitor's 240hz as much as possible. Also how is the wifi on it and will I be able to run youtube videos and other applications while gaming without experiencing lag and performance drops? Thank you in advance, your response may solidify my decision in buying it and I will use your link to buy it so that you get your money.
