What is really odd, player drives T-34/76, with model 1941 turret on top of that. That would be really unusual on frontlines, as by late 1944 preety much all of older models were either lost in many battles of previous years, or replaced by new tanks like T-34/85. Also mission end screen list 88mm tank gun as favourite weapon, nice to know devs just copy-paceed scripts from MoHAA :D
As far as the tank model goes, because I see a lot of people commenting on this and talking about it, I actually have a somewhat solid theory on it. I think they only had a model of a T-34/76 to work with, with the equivalent power and such of a T-34/85. Reasons why they kept the model as an early model tank are unknown, but I guess they were half right when they suppose it would be a "new" T-34.
This still is one of the best tanks after 70years.....Gen Patton. Didn't get to meet Romal the desert fox.....on the battlefield...that would have been a really great match... Hitler's paronia an exicuteing all his General's lead to his downfall. They were so loyal to him an he was so blind to see...but Patton vs desert fox...would have been one really. Tank match to see history in the making. Hopefully allied adult/metal of honor...makes a game in the future....called on the front.. Patton vs Desert Fox.
