The strongest man in the world can carry 500 bullets for his STG while also carring 200 for his springfield and like 300 for his tommy gun and still sprint around like it's nothing
@@Morderisch97 I liked the game but it didn't gave me the feeling I had with Medal of Honor Frontline & Allied Assault or other WWII games from the earlier days.
We don’t give old ww2 shooters the credit they deserve. They don’t got the big living worlds of todays games, but looking at this footage we instead get tight corners with fast appearing enemies and boxes that are placed for the player to strategicly take cover when needed. This design and fast draining health allowed for a fun challenge.
Loved playing this game. Such a pity the ending was disappointing. It lets you think that another mission was underway, and there's no fancy ending speech by the CO. Still, I'd play it again.
Well there's also the spearhead and breakthrough expansions which introduced missions alongside British and Russian allied troops as well. However the missions in those expansions story wise don't continue directly off the main Allied Assault game, and in terms of continuity and historical order the final mission of Spearhead would have been the final part. The expansions are more Frontline action oriented than they are on stealth and espionage and multi level missions. They also don't have much of a Briefing video or any mission documents or written objectives on the loading screens either just spurts of just a couple of levels covering particular battles. (With the exception of one level in Bizerte Harbor on Breakthrough where you have to sneak into a freighter and steal documents) The Expansion Packs cover the airborne operations in Normandy, the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne, and fighting alongside Russian troops in Berlin (in Spearhead) and then Kassarine Pass and Bizerte in Tunisia along with Sicily's glider landings, airfield sabotage at Caltagerone and then Gela and lastly Italy going through Monte Cassino Anzio and then a Mountain Battle. (In Breakthrough which was my favorite expansion) I got the MoH Allied Assault Warchest collection that has all the expansions included.
There actually was supposed to be a final mission at Remagen bridge, but for majority of PC rigs of the era,it would have been too big of a map so they deleted it, although some parts if it like map with aproaches to Remagen is in the multiplayer and bonus mission.
German soldier at 18:34: The fort is literally blowing up and there's an American strike team on the loose. Sounds like a good time to stand in the corner with my weapon on my shoulder.
I remember beating this whole mission then couldnt get out the fkin door to the final train lol. Every German soldier in the Wehrmact, SS, Osttruppen and Volksturm suddenly became a sniper and was on those left and right walkways.... Always was a fan of the Ranger outfit in this game to.
This is my memory of my childhood! My dad brought my family's first PC, My dad and I enjoyed a lot with MOH. After 20 years today, my dad was still trying to donwload this old MOH back😂
The guns/weapons in the older ps2, ps1 and Xbox 360 era shooter games used to sound so satisfying! they were loud and impactful but the weapons in the newer games sound too weak and quiet now it’s a shame honestly.
What I really loved about this mission was just how loosely it still follows much of the MOH 1999 layout on the PS1, like sure its not 1:1 at all, but the rooms and hallways are all familiar and similar, really felt great.
It is fun going back to these games. 4K resolution does a lot in cleaning up the visuals and making it at least presentable. As stated from others, the music is top notch - very 90s Hollywood, which was arguably the last decade of a certain level of quality that has absolutely dropped off. What else is fun is seeing the hats and guns on the ground (or floating in air because a pixel on the gun or hat touched a shelf or something), and a freaking health bar - which reminds me a lot of Goldeneye and other early 3D shooters in the mid 90s.
Downloaded this game 2 days ago after like 5-6 years without playing it. Felt like first time 😂 crazy to say but i still have to improve. Even tho i failed many times in different missions i still love this game 😅 it has a different feel to it and for 2002 it was so ahed the graphics, music, details are so good, EA nailed this game 👌 I just finished it btw
Interestingly enough the All-Lies were going to use Mustard Gas on civilian city’s during WW2…but the Good Guys found out and dive bombed the ship carrying the shells in a Sicilian harbor in 1943.
классная игра ) с удовольствием играл в 2003м) и сейчас могу поиграть и будет хорошо смотреться) ев данном уровне можно медаль получить насколько я помню

How do you get the views? 😢
Soundtrack is better than in modern games
The animations and sounds still hold up quite well for a 21 year old game. Miss this level of passion in game devs
Sounds yes, but animations?
Not the best, but alright for the time.
Wrong. You don't know what you're talking about. And stop "liking" your own comments. You're not fooling anyone and you're better than that...
Animations? Come on man.
The soundtrack was such a part of this experience
the only god thing about the game, plus Omaha beach, rest crap
@@jhutfre4855go play Minecraft then

I would love this Frontline and Airborne in VR

I just LOVED when i get to play with the StG44
It's cool that they reused some of the level design from the first MoH game.
Well it is meant to be the same fort schmertzen from the first game
The mission briefing used to say that you were going back to Schmertzen Bunker as you (Powell) were the only one who knew it best.

At the credits, a certain Jason West and Vince Zampella... Kicked out by EA, they created a new studio under Activision, the rest is history.

Its too bad you can only use lean left and right in multiplayer. That would be really good for this mission. They should have added that to SP
Better than Medal of Honor:Frontline 👀👍

Doing it not on level hard is blasphemy
A super unrealistic and annoying mission. Only 9 guys for me, and the enemy is FULLY ready for us despite this supposedly being a surprise attack.
Not to mention the Germans still attacking you when the FACILITY IS BLOWING UP. They should be be evacuating.
man cannot get out of the last door on HARD level.. keep dying... so sad.. 2 hit and me dead. boo hoo
