I've had a shop spin test of the 22 Exist and Luvias Airity. I couldn't really tell the difference. Now this comes along. Given the price differences, how would you compare all three reels? Sorry to be a bit off subject. Thanks.

      Hey man great question.
I haven't felt a Luvias Airity yet but I have felt the 22 exists.
For the most part I think the differences come from the components and the design itself.
The exist has all of their absolute top shelf and newest ideas that work bundled into one reel if you watch the daiwa aus video on the exist they explain how the drag system works and is meant to perform to help hook and keep fish hooked.
The Presso has the Zaion MQ body whereas the Luvias and I assume exist also are almost completely magnesium which is a lighter material making start up inertia marginally less on those reels.
Little 1%ers means those reels overall should be better performing.
Having said that when you get to these price points it's really hard to pick differences between them.
You might notice some performance differences on the water tho given the opportunity.

Going to do a review on the rod? Can't see any info on TH-cam about the 22 range with the carbon butt

I'd like too mate. I don't have one to use at the moment but I'd like to do some actual fishing with it and see how they perform.

On face value in hand they are light and comfortable to hold.
The rod itself is a bit noodly feeling for my taste but doesn't mean it won't do its job well.

@Yep! Ultralight Fishing Everyone has their preferences I like a bit faster rod I also work plastics and find the feedback confusing on soft rods less feel for me so I don't tend to gravitate towards those types of rods normally.
Would be cool to test one out tho as I was saying earlier.
