What an inspiration that vid was !!🎣masterclass on ultra light tackle nice work Daiwa and to the specialised fisho that explains all aspects in application 🍣
Whoever does your filming and editing deserves a raise. Always good viewing. I miss the old trout and fresh water fishing where I grew up in Victoria and that outfit he’s using is unbelievably nice! Cheers
Great little vid! I did see the Jointed Dr Minnow make an appearance several times in the video, was even the first lure filmed...wondering why you would showcase a lure that has been discontinued? I say this more out of frustration than anything, as they are (were) one of my favourite all time Trout lures. I've mentioned Daiwa should bring them back in Podcasts, on my FB page, and Insta, tagging Daiwa on most occasions. And no, I wouldn't think you would bring them back just for me hahaha but the amount of people I know who would love to see them back as well is...nearly every Trout fisherman I know! And for them to make several appearances in a Daiwa video about Trout fishing with a Pro Staffer using them...and catching multiple fish with them....#bringbackthejointedDrminnow !!!
Hi Brendon, We are working on bringing back the jointed minnow under the Presso name in near future, They are great little lures and we are listening....... watch this space!
Great vid guys, what would you suggest for a travel rod I’m tossing up between one of your older presso 4 piece or one of the new wilderness rods would mainly be fishing land based for trout at the bigger streams and lakes like Jindabyne throwing small lures and anything up to say 18 grams cheers guys!
If you're casting up to 18 definitely go with the 20 WILDERNESS 765MHFS. The recommended castweight is 4-17g which gives you a good ranges of lures to cast. daiwafishing.com.au/collections/rod-light-tackle/products/20-wilderness
@@JamesWilliams-ss3cp It is on the heavier side which caters for your heavier lures that you want to cast. You can go the LFS or MLFS but that decreases the cast weight
Anyone can help with pointing some direction on where to start with blue mountain trout fishing? By looking at the google map, it’s huge and it’s hard to see the access point. Plz pm! Thanks!
Hello friend, great video, I love nature. Can you tell me what size shirt do you wear in the video? I am a person of a very similar height, the Daiwa shirt is very pretty, greetings.
Good jop have a nice day use your daiwa Presso 22 New product trout rod what is the size rod ıs it ultra light rod 0 5 thank you very much help me right
Best video I've seen from this guy, top stuff. Thanks Jakko and Daiwa team.

i have a certate on my presso, such a nice combo
Great video Jakko and Patto, loved this one.
Would you recommend the Ultralight Presso over the Light for this type of fishing?
Either would suit. It more depends on the lure weights you plan on throwing and the size of the fish in the stream.
Mate that combo looks mint! 👌
Atmospheric and cool
Great job Jakko
Great video 🔥🔥
Bring back the jointed 5cm Dr Minnow lure, please!
Awesome vid. Has Daiwa ever considered selling spinners? Similar to a blue fox vibrax or a rooster tail? They are dynamite down here in Vic.
Daiwa does make spinners I believe they are under the silver creek name
Any reason why you would use a 2500 instead a 2000? cheers
👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥

Can I ask that you share some locations ?
Do you still sell the jointed dr minnows
They were discontinued.
Woeful decision, easily their best stream trout lure.

This blokes calves need their own doco
Can and will walk anywhere on any terrain!

Chewing gum in vids is super annoying. Sorry but it is.
No a good idea wearing shots in Blue Mountains. Seen plenty of red bellies and done a dance with brown. Also tigers are common there
100% right about that mate, I was thinking the same thing!
