yeah i don't really know why chinese people always comment bad words toward taiwanese people just because of political situation. Taiwanese are very kind, and i can confirm this because i too studied in taiwan for several years.
yeah I'm mainland chinese too, and i can only say that taiwan is much better than most of the mainland. maybe they have a lot of bots here nowadays, that attack everything that isn't pro-chinese government

Question 2 - he said 我周末没法早起，but the early option had already been eliminated due to not having pool access. Surely he should have said something like 我下班后没法去 which would eliminate the last remaining option as intended.
It's called "advanced listening comprehension". In my opinion HSK5 is still the upper end of intermediate (I say that as someone who also passed HSK5 about 6 months ago). Advanced begins at HSK6, I reckon.
Is there a mistake in the translation? For the play dialogue it says “演員的口水應該沒那麽讓人難以忍受” The translation says "I'm not too crazy about having actors spit on me, so...", but shouldn't it be "actors spitting on me probably isn't that bad, so..." Or am I missing something?
Couldnt get up early only refers to on the weekends.(周末沒法早起) As he said,he has to go work early on the weekdays so he will use gym on those days early morning and will swim on weekends.
Why do you guys use people who don’t speak a standard accent? Would be best to use standard mandarin to teach and then if they move somewhere that doesn’t speak standard mandarin they can just adjust at that time. Having multiple accents presented to you while you are “growing up” in your second language is terrible. Some of the people in this video can’t even say zh, sh, ch properly.....Guangdong?
It's easier to listen to 《三国》or《包青天》than this. The lessons were very difficult and I hate the woman's 口音, she's like reading a story in Russian accent ?
What the fuck? Hard not because of the language spoken but because of how unusually fast they are speaking. I have lived in China two years and never heard anyone talk at this pace, they are doing it deliberately to trip up listeners which is anti-learning and making it deliberately harder than it needs to be. This is not a good thing.
