I am only experienced with the Duke-Nukem-editor (Mapster), but this is pretty similar (and more luxurious). So you run over a touch-plate which activates the action. That's pretty cool, if you know what to do. Recently I had to learn, you cannot skip a crow-bar, because the place you run over has 6 crow-bars and 5 of 6 are invisible, so whereever you jump, you pick one up and the visible crow-bar disappears, lol .......... "magic, ladies and gentlemen". :D
Well basically all you have to do, is on the Target of the scripted_sequence, make that ANOTHER scripted_sequence so when the monster is done the first sequence, he will go to the second one.
I have issue with NPC, when I press E they begin to follow me while saying the line and two, they run over to the scripted sequence area right as I join the map instead of me going over to the trigger to make the scientist run over to the sequence area
I tried this but the npc starts doing the sequence immediatly even if I dont walk into the aaatrigger brush (with trigger_once settings) WHY:::::a,jakpkfhah

You need to use the Half-Life SDK as there are two different versions of the Valve Hammer Editor used for GoldSrc and Source. You can easily install it from Steam, but it's recommended you buy Jackhammer, which is a bit pricey but worth it in the end if you're looking forward to GoldSrc mapping and modding.

Just have the last scripted_sequence trigger the first one. That way, when he finishes the last scripted_sequence, he is told to go to the first scripted_sequence, and the entire sequence is repeated.

As for animations, that is a whole different ball game. you need to decompile the model and add the new animations and recompile the model. How can you see your entities? All I see are opaque squares! It's really pissin' me off. Barney will be like this rectangle cube that is coloured light blue. How can you actully see Barney's model? I am using the new Half-Life SDK by the way.

I dont think you NEED to but I will say it makes getting them a lot easier. lol
@stimms212 Well you have to use the 3.5 FGD and extract all the models from your Half-Life GCF into your accname/half-life/valve/models folder

i have 3.5 (not source) This is for half life, CS 1.6, and games on the goldsrc engine. Scripted Sequences are harder in source and I dont do source.

A cutscene is essentially just some scripted sequences with the use of a trigger_camera to take control of the perspective

@frostsolidx2 Are you talking about deathmatch? If you are, using info_player_deathmatch. If you're talking about singleplayer, you can only have one

You have to view the models in a model viewer, such as Jeds Half-Life Model Viewer where you can browse through all the character's animations.
