You've had air mass fault before ? I have "air mass out of range" p0101 fault on bmw 218d . I cannot find the cause vacuum leaks damaged wires etc. How did you resolve yours Did you do a video.
Yesterday my mechanic put new seal rocker covers gasket and steel leaking on other side now exactly on the corner- I can not believe, a lots of money for nothing- what can i do?
Rocker cover can only be really be removed once, which may already have been done. After 1 removal and reintall, plastic is warped and will not mate correct a second time, possibly has been reinstalled before if service history is unknown. Ask to have the gasket AND plastic rocker cover replaced. Could also just request bolts be tightened further and hope that helps. May crack the cover, but you need a new one already.
Hi Sandy - where are you based? Fancy doing the exact same again? 2013 520d. Exact same issue with oil dripping onto DFP and smoking. Need it sorted as I'm wanting to sell. I dont have the machine to bleed the fuel system. Cheers

I believe those return pipe connectors are prone to breaking when trying to remove them so a good idea to leave well alone 👍

Was the smell PCV positive crankcase vent ? Or just a leaky valve cover ?????
