Impressive he did drive while sick. But there honestly weren't much competition there. Only Solberg that got 2 punctures early on, which made it impossible for him to catch up on pure pace. Kajto has nowhere near the same pace as Gus either.
Greensmith/Andersson were literally the highlight of the rally for me, which is saying a lot bc rally Kenya is probably one of my favourites. Very exciting to see Greensmith starting the season
Absolutely brilliant driving, and this is him just maintaining his 1st position,he was not pushing it to the limit....what a controlled mature driver he is proving to be. Great things ahead for Gus and Jonas. 💥
I wonder how much drivers actually listen to co-pilots. I tried keeping my ear on the co-driver but simply missed 70% of what he is saying. Even when you understand everything being said, it must be so difficult to both focus on the road and the co-pilot. This must require intense focus.
I love rally, but I hate this view, I can't watch it its so boring! Who wants to watch the drivers?! I want to see the steering wheel and pedals ... is that too much to ask?! 😑
The fact Gus did this while very sick and won the rally in dominant fashion should be a warning sign to the rest of the WRC2 field this season.

Kudos to Kristian Sohlberg for the coaching, seems to be working
Too hard to say. He wasn't pushing because Ollie got the 2 punctures. Theres a huge luck factor. Otherwise it would've been a crazy battle.
So you’re telling us he was high on meds and that’s why he was so loose and not tensed?
@@rykerhasyounow This aged well 😅

On-board vision was epic
Feeling under the weather but mixing with the rally 1 guys. Perhaps driver of the weekend.
Thank you for posting!
FIA stay posting Bangers!!! 🔥🔥🔥

A lot.
It's chemistry. Co-pilot knows how his driver wants his notes and when. They've spent hours in that car together. 😉 lol
That was awesome F-ing driving. Seriously
The jump on the two trees is 6:19,for those interested.
Itd be a damn dream to watch one irl but alas this season doesn't have any us track... eh that what the internet is for
He made that look easy!
15;14 nice save...👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Ciao hello to all awesome well done to all 👍❤💪🧡🏆
The co driver talking simultaneously absorbing the turbulence, me I suspect in that process he can bite his tongue 👅
I love it, sir
15:15 Haha...
Brown moment
"To the famous tree "... Only on Kenya.
Think Greensmith are predestined to apply for a WRC1 cockpit..
👌
You haven't included speeds
Start more ungly

I'm new to watching WRC rally but love it. Why do I never see any American drivers?
Because there are none in the WRC.
