I couldn't close my mouth for 7 minutes.. this is insane driving😭😵💫 So much info to process, all happening so fast. The car never stopped screaming throughout the stage! So beautiful! I'm new to rally, nd I'm blown away!
Congratulations, you've found the hardest driving in the world and have been watching the very best for many, many years. Rovanpera is something else, and likewise the equally incredible co-driving.😊
This entire stage seems to have been curved right out of the mountains. Absolutely incredible performance on that terrain. Also, an incredible backdrop with the white steam clouds from the geothermal power plants.
Thank you very much for this beautiful content. If there are any plans to upload another onboard from this rally, I suggest Tänak's camera behind the seats on the stages he had intercom issues. It could be interesting seeing the co-driver making hand gestures and how Tänak manages the driving!
Even though I’m a native Finnish speaker, the co-driver notes are still something I haven’t deciphered. “Don’t lick, tightens. Break over the knee, electricity, yield. Left K.”
Kalle saw one of his main challengers stopped halfway through the stage and eased off...yet he posted the fastest time of the stage, his fifth out of six on a clean sweep of Friday of the safari rally . ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!!!
they used an AI speech enhancer and those sometimes get confused about what is speech and what is just noise. you can hear Jonne's normal radio voice in many parts on this vid, where the AI failed to pick it up entirely.
I've been looking in to it and there are no major modifications for the new Kenyan rallies. They only cover about 360km of timed stages now as opposed to about 2000km that they did years ago.

How the heck do you make a suspension that on the one hand is soft and compliant enough to handle literal jumps, but on the other hand sharp and direct enough to almost instantly react to the driver's input? The way this car is able to switch directions at a flick of the steering wheel is mind boggling.

This area is known for geotheraml power. 60% of Kenyas energy is from geothermal. This area has lots of megawatts of geothermal. the steam you see at a distance is probably a geothermal plant

That level of driving really seems superhuman. Always amazed by the skills and the courage of these guys!
Visual acuity has to be perfect, all senses have to work in tardem, very high concentration!for f1,all these have to be better!
@@georgenene1419 What did you mean with the F1 part? Literally what it says there? In which case, I don't agree at all. Rally is much more demanding.
@@georgenene1419 let’s agree to disagree 😅
@@georgenene1419 so why was Raikkonen such a shitty rally driver?
remember he is only 23yrs old..i just love the speed ROV
It's amazing they don't get punctures within the first 30 seconds.
Tires, they are very different from the ones in your ordinary car and also quite expensive by a significant margin
yet some people already got puncture, like his teammate takamoto Katsuta and Elfyn Evans @@mwat22
they run lower pressures too @@mwat22
Rally suspensione can absorb a lot more, so the tyre doesn't get hit ass much
There has been a lot of punctures this rally. Kalle has managed to be ‘lucky’ - ie he is superhuman.

For this Finnish boy Safari Rally has always beeing something really really special. I just love this rally!

DAMN SMOOTH!!! no under or over steering, light on the crest and speed was on point well DONE
What do u mean..rally is like 50 percent oversteering..
yeah gonna have to disagree with ya on that one he was sideways thru almost all of those xD
Nice Stage!
Kalle seems to be driving that car since he was born
This is such a breathtaking onboard
The most thrilling rally in the world.

Welcome to our country Kenya 🇰🇪 and enjoy the Maasai Mara and great Rift Valley where the WRC rall is held every year.
Спасибо за ответ, очень рад, у вас красивая страна, и доброжелательные люди.
Yes indeed our country Kenya is magical
Yes mine field describes it perfectly, what an incredible driver and Co driver combination!
1:37 Hyundai jumpscare
That's not a road, that's a minefield. If a regular car drove down that road at speed the car would be destroyed.
Kalle was absolutely unstoppable this weekend! Glad to see after disappointment in Sweden. 🔥
@2:31 that rock was so close to hitting the windscreen!
Rally tv is too expensive it's a shame because following WRC shouldn't be so difficult
This makes F1 look like EMotorsports
1:37 "and if you take a look at the left, we can see a wild Hyundai i20 WRC approaching. What a rare appearance"
Amazing balance 🦋
Thank you for a nice long driving session.
No wonder this guy is world champion 2x hope he gets his 3x

Those are not drinking water pipes... They deliver water to geothermal plants(thus the steaming areas on the distance)
