Reality check, this would've taken about 10-25 minutes at max, in combat you're way more coordinated, you don't just say stealth is an option and you come in with a helicopter and a machine gun firing the whole mission is compromised the terrorists will kill the hostage on the spot, Speed, Aggression, Surprise is the key here. Attack out of surprise, make it super quick with aggression.

Yea it seemed this event was mostly to look cool. There were many bullshit "scenes" in here. Such as delivery of the craft by a blackhawk laying down suppressive fire (they were supposed to be stealthy anyways lul), then it randomly leaves and the craft's crew are now vulnerable small arms fire, or when the operators were just walking towards a hail of gunfire from the black shirt guys on the port, instead of proning out or taking cover. Not also to mention it seems they decided the well armed bad guys in this scenario wouldn't have any heavy lmgs or rpgs oddly enough. Like the vehicle convoy looked cool and all but their only opposition was 1 guy with an AK that malfunctioned after ~10 rounds. Didn't seem realistic at all.

@@defenselessmoms it's actually considered to be 120mph when falling in a flat, stable position, and it actually takes close to 10 seconds to actually reach that speed IIRC from my jumping days. But yeah, your estimate of time is pretty close to how long it takes to freefall 4000 ft.

Jesse Hall I was thinking the exact same thing, watching this on my PHONEI can't imagine what it'd be like to see in person and hear the echo of gunfire off the buildings , especially the mini-Gus on the Blackhawk and the support boats. I got chills a few different times seeing some of the different operation, vehicles and helicopters come into site seeing it in my phone with crap sound,..it'd be unreal in person!

That's why they have the blank fire adapters (at the end of the gun) so if a live round is mistakenly shot, it will severely slow down the bullet.

Yea it seemed this event was mostly to look cool. There were many bullshit "scenes" in here. Such as delivery of the craft by a blackhawk laying down suppressive fire (they were supposed to be stealthy anyways lul), then it randomly leaves and the craft's crew are now vulnerable small arms fire, or when the operators were just walking towards a hail of gunfire from the black shirt guys on the port, instead of proning out or taking cover.
Not also to mention it seems they decided the well armed bad guys in this scenario wouldn't have any heavy lmgs or rpgs oddly enough. Like the vehicle convoy looked cool and all but their only opposition was 1 guy with an AK that malfunctioned after ~10 rounds. Didn't seem realistic at all.
Jeffrey S it wasn’t supposed to be. It was a demonstration of forces and how the allies can work together tactically to complete a mission. Of course we know this wasn’t a tactically viable mission. Everyone knew it, it was simply a demonstration of capabilities and unity between forces

23:00 the announcer says the jumpers will exit the aircraft at 8000 ft and pull their chutes at 4000 ft... That was the quickest 4000 ft free fall I've ever seen...
Assuming the terminal velocity of a human is 176 feet per second, 4000 feet shouldve taken them around 22 seconds 😂
@@defenselessmoms it's actually considered to be 120mph when falling in a flat, stable position, and it actually takes close to 10 seconds to actually reach that speed IIRC from my jumping days. But yeah, your estimate of time is pretty close to how long it takes to freefall 4000 ft.

Jesse Hall I was thinking the exact same thing, watching this on my PHONEI can't imagine what it'd be like to see in person and hear the echo of gunfire off the buildings , especially the mini-Gus on the Blackhawk and the support boats. I got chills a few different times seeing some of the different operation, vehicles and helicopters come into site seeing it in my phone with crap sound,..it'd be unreal in person!
