I think the biggest inconsistency in the whole movie was when David somehow had the strength to knock a whole in the water container while fully submerged against the beast, then proceeds to be over powered by a normal human and drowned in a puddle. 😂
If david had broken the water tank while the beast was distracted by mr glass then the overseer would have already defeated the beast and the movie would have ended very differently
@@Soarin-Duranold comment but I want to this say this anyway: I think David Dunn seemed a bit stronger because the Beast wasn't able to increase its powers by eating the girls at the start of the movie. This suggests the capacity of its powers is directly linked to consuming people who have not suffered in his eyes.

People in the comments are upset that David (Bruce Willis' character) died in this movie. I think it was a necessary and dramatic death for a couple of reasons. M. Night gave a master class on how to ruin a storyline and a movie franchise with this one. He tries so hard to capture that original "I see dead people" twist that he literally ruins story lines and movies to try and out-do it. I dont watch anything he puts out anymore.

The way I would have done this ending, I still would have had both Kevin and Mr. glass die, but David would have served only to be arrested and near the end after the security footage was released to the world, maybe the police release David after it proves he didn't kill anyone and he saved both the police and the nurses
Then David should not have died David had to be saved by the police and the nurse you were right only that Kevin and Mr Glass could die because David is a protector the police had to leave David alive instead of suffocating him
If you’re talking about Sylvester Stallone’s movie, I don’t think that is part of the same universe. It wasn’t even directed by M. Night. If you wanna call it a spiritual sequel, I guess you could.
A spin-off series taking place after the Glass would be nice, people emerging from the shadows to use their powers for good or evil, then the battle between heroes and villains begin.
I heard the reason he did the seemingly stupid ending is because he wanted to show that not everyone dies a heroic and epic death, sometimes they are killed in anticlimactic ways thag almost seem improbable, and M Night Shyamalan wanted to show that
Imagine if the universe from the show HEROES was connected to this one; Man The possibilities of stories that are written right would have been endless! Lol 💯🔥😁😉👍

M. Night gave a master class on how to ruin a storyline and a movie franchise with this one. He tries so hard to capture that original "I see dead people" twist that he literally ruins story lines and movies to try and out-do it. I dont watch anything he puts out anymore.

Alongside Joseph Dunn
Joseph Dunn: One Of The Two Deuteragonists Alongside Casey Cooke

Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Beast/Hedwig/ Barry/Dennis/Patricia: The Secondary Antagonist
Cameos
M Night Shyamalan: Jai
The way I would have done this ending, I still would have had both Kevin and Mr. glass die, but David would have served only to be arrested and near the end after the security footage was released to the world, maybe the police release David after it proves he didn't kill anyone and he saved both the police and the nurses
Then David should not have died David had to be saved by the police and the nurse you were right only that Kevin and Mr Glass could die because David is a protector the police had to leave David alive instead of suffocating him
i still cant believe they ended the franchise in such a lackluster way
What is the theme when Beast has his flashback?? at 0:44
It's Kevin Wendell Crumb theme from Split
This was a masterpiece

Glass
Genre: Superhero Thriller Dark Action Horror
Don't ever take 2 scoops of pre-workout
I used to take a scoop of pre workout and then an mix it with half an energy drink
I take 3
Glass won at the end tho
I agree killing David was dumb
Somehow they killed Superman with a few tablespoons of rain water WTH
I'm gonna miss Bruce Willis
I don’t get why people are so against this ending
The only thing I have against it is that Bruce Willis’s character got killed off
@@tonyleidyiii1652 Well being that water was his weakness, it was bound to get him eventually anyway
That's like saying you don't get why people hated the final season of Game of Thrones. Absolutely clueless.
@@mr.dragoncrypto4138 I’m not a fan of that show. But I’m guessing you’re not gonna wanna bother explaining why a lot of you hated this ending
What is the point of choking someone who’s already underwater?
To ensure that he dies
3:06 3:09 makes me laugh samuel l jackson scream
Awesome trilogy
Heroes:
Mr. Mind
The Protector Protected
The Beast Human
Villain:
The Inhuman Immortal
We need another split or glass movie ASAP 🙏🏼💯
There is a spin off sequel Samaritan
If you’re talking about Sylvester Stallone’s movie, I don’t think that is part of the same universe. It wasn’t even directed by M. Night. If you wanna call it a spiritual sequel, I guess you could.
A spin-off series taking place after the Glass would be nice, people emerging from the shadows to use their powers for good or evil, then the battle between heroes and villains begin.
@@tonyleidyiii1652no way
I didn't even know bout it
@@gagebruh193 the reason why I believe Samaritan is a spin off to glass is because the end showed the world that super humans exist
I heard the reason he did the seemingly stupid ending is because he wanted to show that not everyone dies a heroic and epic death, sometimes they are killed in anticlimactic ways thag almost seem improbable, and M Night Shyamalan wanted to show that
Imagine if the universe from the show HEROES was connected to this one; Man
The possibilities of stories that are written right would have been endless! Lol 💯🔥😁😉👍
For someone who is indestructible, The Overseer really looked weak in every movie he appeared
I feel so bad for split he got burnt and hurt by his own mother💀
I fkin loved Bruce since my very young age
I'm an adult 30+ guy now but have tears in my eyes after watching the Movie and what even worse, knowing about Bruce real life condition
Notice how the Beast enters the water. Dude swan dove into the tank
The beast was the best. I mean, that dude went Primal. I still need to watch unbreakable. But after watching Split and glass only, I mean dude.. I just, feel for the beast. He is my friend (: Rejoice!
poor bruce willis.. i wish he could keep acting.
Good thing he’s got tons of film under his belt
One day I hope they will find a cure for his condition
I love this movie though. And the other two also.
how does m night keep getting work?
I don't know what you talking about. I love all his movies....😊
He self finances his movies.
And he doesn't need your approval to do what he loves.
For real, he’s one of the worst movie makers in history.
Still hate what they did in this movie for the ending and that whole dumb conspiracy plot behind it.
I don’t know why people are complaining about David’s death this film is brilliant This is Bruce’s last good role he couldn’t of done much more anyway rip David
Are people forgetting water is David’s weakness and bro was surrounded in it that’s why David dies still sad though
@@BOOM67-EDITS instead of David being killed off, he should’ve retired from being the overseer
@@BOOM67-EDITS It is his weakness as much as it is a human weakness, he can't breathe, so he will drown, but the water tank scene showed that it doesn't rob his powers like a kryptonite.
He escaped underwater while fighting a superhuman, but he couldn't shrug a normal human off? It didn't make sense to me.
David Dunn is forever my favorite superhero 💯 pls there should be a prequel to they overseer he deserves it
Yeah but he escaped quickly and then when he was still weak he got dragged and drowned his son did him justice though
3:05
Why does the beast need to choke him underwater. He ain't breathing anyway
Wth did I just watch ?! Forgot this movie happened. Did not it was a continuation of that movie with the beast
Yes, a sequel to unbreakable and split
I’m not a movie buff, but m night only had 2 memorable movies. This trilogy is on Netflix, but they’re not one of em
They should have showed their true strength giving a long fight atleast to see how strong david and beast are but no M.night ruined the best thing about this movie a big clash between davids true strength and beast true savageness
This one gets even worse with time.
What is this? Xavier and Nick Fury swap wheelchair?😬
Including John McClane
2:59. 3:30
I wonder if they are still alive?
No, they're not alive, trios are all dead because you think they're alive?
@@DiegoGianluigiMigliaccio-wx5zc You don't think Mr glass could of came up with a way for them to fake their deaths? The dude was a super genius.
I wonder if M.Night Shyamalan will make a Spin off to this crossover. Where Superheros and Villains start showing up all around the world 🌍🌎🌏 and the Black Clover Organization gains more power to put a stop to it all
Samuel l Jackson is so freaking cool
Even this short clip is almost too boring to watch to the end.
They should've made this a two part movie instead of compressing it 90 minute film ...
This is me in a different body
I liked the movie but dumbest ending. What is it with M Night? He sometimes makes great movies but then screws up the endings. I hated this ending what a horrible and tone deaf conclusion he came up with. Im shocked he still gets work.
Im sad david died
He could have been amazing in other marvel films
I’m a plumber that’s how I get under sinks after doing this so long 4:03
If he died fighting beast in water tower people would still whine
Despite Kevin dying, and also not having a bigger role, this is one of my favorite superhero movies and to me was 2019 best movie
Why are some comments laughing at Glass getting hurt😂
3:14 3:15
Why was his weakness water??and he drowned in a puddle lol what a disastrous ending to a good franchise smh
so you don't even know why water was his weakness (which was answered in first movie and third) and you call this disastrous, such irony lmao
@@disgustingnerd7027 of course i know why, i saw the whole trilogy! but he shouldnt have died!! there shouldve been 1 survivor and it shouldve been him.
but if he did have to die..atleast kill him in battle or as a sacrifice...how he die in a puddle😓😭
@@robbbyyy25 >why was his weakness water
>i know why
Makes sense.
U missed whole point of his death and probably whole trilogy, as David himself said in first movie, heroes don't die in the pool, turns out they do, in real world people die in the most stupid ways, doesn't mean they're not heroes, that was always Shyamalan vision since unbreakable, superhores dying without buildings being destroyed and everyone seeing them saying some dramatic last words
I only saw glass so this is my best guess
Probably has severe ptsd from almost drowning in it in the past and his body goes into panic mode and freezes up when submerged
I forget, what happens to Kevin?
The woman tricked the beast into turning into Kevin and then while he was Kevin, he was shot and killed
@@adulthoodsucks I dont, either. A lot of ppl didn't like the ending. A proper ending would have been the beast killing mr glass, and then battling with Dunn to the end, with Dunn finally killing him, and then going to live a quiet life in the country side
The ending to this movie was the last straw, I've completely stopped watch m night Shamalan films.
Exposition central is the train Station we are headed to I see
This film was so cringe....
