Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
i give it a strike.
9
I'd give it a slap
While i love this series... this 3rd movie was really a great ride, i loved seeing J use his smartassitude to get out of racial situation.
Wouldn't be much since you're asking for validation
Amazing scene. And J finally understands why K was always hovering over him. Tried to protect him and be a father to him.
Lazy writing.
Yea it was but still……
@@baltakateihow would you write it so that it isn't lazy?
Why would that be lazy writing lmao
@@baltakatei Best lazy writing I've seen in a long time

J: “Hey, K, have you ever flashy-thing me?”
K: “No.”
J: “Hey man, I’m serious! Have you ever flashy-thing me!?”
K: “No.”
Honestly, anyone arguing against MiB being peak ain't got taste. That scene, and its implications, are painfully bittersweet.
Cheers from your 800th like :]
It's a good thing J didn't change the past again, after he saw his father's death, and didn't hate K for lying.
You really want to tell a Lil kid that his dad just died? And then tell him an alien did it? How much trauma you want him to have?
This how good people turn bad and become super villains in movies.
Anakin says hello.
It's a good thing he didn't run up on stage and slap K while demand that he take his daddy's name out of his mouth.
Josh Brolin just hit this one out of the park. His younger version of Tommy Lee Jones is just eerily on point. Amazing job and he and Will Smith have really good chemistry.
i really like how the climax fight for this film takes place during the day
Yeah iirc the first 2 movies it was during the night
It makes the point that the worst moments of Evil can happen even in broad daylight 😢😢😮😢
That’s a Big Ass Phone don’t put that up to your head 😂😂
Put that as a warning message for every smartphone 😂
@@ILIK3HATERZ I remember those warnings for cellphones, as they really started picking up. The news was reporting on tumors and I eventually saw a skit, starring Andy Dick of all people, about the attempt to cover it up. It ends with Dick's character leaving the interview, revealing that he's got multiple tumors on the back of his neck.
It's weird to think that K knew J the whole time. I wonder if they had that thought back when the original was made.
time travel is weeeeeeeeird; never used it in any of my fanfics. 🙄
I have wondered that since I saw MIB3 as well. I don't think they did to be honest. Always picked up on K searching for a guy like himself and scouting possibilities in MIB1 and that he had followed J's career for awhile. The whole line about, "have you ever flashy thinged me" and the fact that K knew enough of J's personal and career information that he could write a Police after action report for him was planted.
Though I can say I did like the twist that they put on it for MIB3. Like it was enough that J went back and worked with K so that K knew in the future who he was looking for and was the only one who "knew" who he wanted to recruit but when the kid voice comes from that truck it just made the whole trilogy even better.

Time travel should only be used by smart writers, or else it will create a lot of plot holes. This one was fine though.
This scene always reminded me of the "good cop, bad cop" bit they tried to do in the first movie - which I always assumed was intentional. Something to show how much their dynamic has changed over the decades (literally in this case).
What i allways found funny amd quite seeming as if it was destiny, is that as we all know the 2 most common family names in an American phone book are Smith and Jones so they are first choice for aliases even for real agents. Amd the poster of first movie showed Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones dressed in the black suits with the caption "mr Smith and Mr Jones"
That last seen, damn. Depth beyond any other in the series. Gets me every time
Brolin’s “all right!” was perfect K. What an actor!
Must have Josh Brolin back for a MIB prequel.
yeah he did such a great job channeling Tommy Lee Jones version of Agent K
Josh was really a believable younger version of Tommy Lee Jones, even if MIB III wasn't great.
Technically, this is a prequel
@jeffschwehr6750 huh? This movie was awesome
@@evand2185 I admit it was "just okay." Not awesome. But I'd watch it again 😀.
1:51 "That ain't a finga hole you sick bastid!" I love that line so much! 😂
just imagine folks sitting around, imagining what it would sound like to use a talking head for a bowling ball.
what she said.
brolin was perfect for this role
Need more sci-fi movies like this! Great plot with the right balance of drama + comedy. SFX / CGI alone can't be the foundation for a good movie!
One movie where the third one in a trilogy was the best!
wtf? Are you insane? ^^
It was crap.
Dedication works wonders…
L take. 1 will always be the best
@@Dime_time333 and what of the future? Might the next one perhaps be even better? Perhaps our best days are yet ahead of us.
Do you have brain damage? You must to have that kind of opinion.
You know this movie explains the brighter side of Chaos Theroy. Chaos theroy states that where there is chaos, there will always be. However, it shows that even through great heartache... we grow the most. The fact that J never went back to save his dad and the fact that K didn't go back in time as well to try and change the past.
Instead he gave the one yhing that makes Chaos theory look like childs play... hope. K gave James or J hope when his father was gone, as well as a message that inspires hope in those that hear it. "Your daddy was a hero."
Between Brolin's portrayal of K and the Griffin character, this easily became my favorite movie of the trilogy.
I don't count the Liam Neeson movie as part of the set. Don't know what they were thinking making that groaner.
A quick buck
The only person who could play Young Tommy Lee Jones.
that last scene gets me every time
I would've liked it if K used a smartphone or a sat phone instead of the sci-fi brick phone cause it would really help reinforce the idea that all the modern technology that we have are just hand-me-downs the MIB sells to us whenever they need money or their current equipment becomes obsolete.
Technically the phone he used was a hand-me-down
The phone he used was from 1983, this movie is set in 1969
That head til and drop when K hears young J say daddy. The last thing he wanted to hear. You can almost hear the god damn it. Such a simple head movement but so much emotion behind it.
This movie was way better than it had any right to be. A very worthy ending for MiB
Most of the movie was pretty meh but the ending sure made up for it. Right in the feels.
You could if was "Fair-to-middling"
The neutralizer doesnt need glasses when positioned behind BUSHES. DONT FORGET!
Why did they have to interrogate a guy to figure out the boss was in the office? That first scene is beyond stupid
Good point 😂
Funny though.
And didn't they know the boss got killed, are they blind and deaf?
I think they knew the whole time, but k was testing j to see how he'd react in the situation rather than jumping straight to it. K is a man of patience who enjoys a slice of pie from time to time, he does things at his own pace.
Also from the line "Lucky guess" it might be safe to assume K was testing him to see if he knew where the key was
1:20 "His head is a little..." 🐭 gets me everytime
“I call this one, low-hanging fruit”
“That ain’t a finger hole you sick bastard”

How it gets to you, seeing why K had chosen J. For he's been secretly watching over him ever since
Cool fact: the guy J and K are using as a bowling ball is a good friend of my dad and I got meet him
Time Traveler: "This is extremely painful."
What's your motivation?
"Helping? wtf?"
Это невероятно сильная сцена с юным Джеймсом в конце.
This movie got slept on man
😮💨 the problem with the MIB sequels is they were both comedies first and fantasy police investigation second, the opposite of the first movie
I'll take comedy first any day. If the movie/show ain't funny, it ain't got much interesting in it imo.
@O111e I disagree, the first one was more captivating we were following along with this alien police mistery, you didn't even know what the villain wanted or even looked like till the climax of the movie, there's the mistery about why some aliens seemed to be fleeing Earth, the crap about Orion's belt bla bla bla, that kept you hooked, comedy was just sprinkled here and there, and hey surprise! it's the highest rated MIB to date, the ONLY one to get an score of over 90% in Rotten Tomatoes. Movie producers watched it and thought "hey whacky aliens! Will Smith making funny faces!, gotcha"
I put my pants on 😂😂
"I put my panth on" 😂
All the movies so different and great in their own way.
“Ite ya head”😂😂😂
brolin does a great tommy lee impression 🤣
Alice Eve really is the top shelf.
“I put mah pants on”
After J explains the whole thing I was expecting K to just say, why didn't you just say so!
So he had the nurilizer in his pocket? Why did they have to put will smith in a big ass machine lol.
To scare him
Isn't that J's neuralizer that K took from him earlier?
@@TheOneandOnlyDeelax and @joshs6147 K had an older model Neuralizer, fed from a battery pack on the belt. We only see him attempt to use it once in the film and it kept beeping at him and making him fiddle with the settings, causing J to pull his future model out just before Griff told them not to lie to anyone. Makes me think the older model was unreliable or temperamental, while the big one back at base may not have had the same issue. It's also a case of K saw J with tech that was half a century ahead of what MiB was using at the time and needed to interrogate him, and MiB protocol requires interrogation being done at MiB HQ, so when J was being uncooperative during said interrogation, K took him to the Neuralizer room. Either J would start telling the truth or his entire life would get wiped and rewritten by MiB.
Yes@@TheOneandOnlyDeelax
No it isn't. Its the one with the battery pack, the one K was charging when they arrived at cape canaveral to use on the guards. The modern one j had, jt had a flat top and it flashed blue @@tonyacosta4574
"I put my pants on 🤪"
He was awesome in this role.
The 60s neutralizer lights on top remind me of guitar hero
"imma kill botha yees" 😂
Defying the laws of physics one alien at a time😂
I wish this was the movie where they flipped the dynamic around, have J be the veteran, more experienced agent while he instructs K. I got kinda tired of J constantly seeming like he has no idea how to conduct himself as an MiB agent.
Maybe if it had been an earlier, younger K, but the K we got was already rather experienced and familiar with the job. Besides, J went back to a time period drastically different from his own. This was not a period in time where he could give too much input on.
What other movie does Josh Brolin say, 'Fair to middling'? Everest?
Damnit I’m crying
I don't know if I don't know nothin 😂
Josh does a pretty good Tommy Lee Jones impression!
1:00 that's a diabolical angle
mib3 is one of those movies that has no right to be as good as it was, like think about it, mib was a popcorn action flick, mib2 was a kinda not great sequel and then along comes mib3 being goofy as shit and yet emotionally charged in such a way that it remains more memorable of the three films
how does brolin actually act and sound like Lee jones
Don't put that up to ya head im dead i remember when my oldest sister had that big gray cell phone
That's a big as phone

Funny scene of the movie
"I put my pants on"
J’s father knew he was going to die and that future j was his son.
No country for old men in black
Why does k have the small neutalizer. I assumed that one did not exist at that time because k used a big one trying to erase j memories.
Took it from J
Sorry Kid, your Dad's gone for milk.
wes was here
The fact he put his fingers in his mouth while he was still talking and didn’t bite him makes me never want to watch this lol
yes this was very ok, I'll see myself out
Maybe you can slap agent K, Will.
Bro these bouncers are AWFUL. How did they let someone as obvious as Boris in and assassinate their boss?!
Zip it thanos
I like to think that for all the aliens who walk among us, Earth is a suitable, but elaborate tax evasion scheme. As in whatever it takes to be a full fledged human being is donuts to your resident glip glop. They can settle for assistant manager in a bowling alley on only require 2% of their brain capacity
I hate this scene it always makes my eyes sweat
Okay can someone tell me why?this part had to be in a green screen in him on a device spinning around for a short time ….now I see it… if this how it went, screw the large majority of actors… since Will Smith is so big at this time 3:17 OK well three minutes on the set Comes out of his dressing room director and him both meet up. I’ve read this part. My character gets in a device and spin me around. I haven’t had the time to actually check this device that you’re talking about… Will this be a problem all you have to do is just lay down. Say your lines and this device right here will spin you around and it’s gonna lift up sideways…. hold up what do you mean sideways.. it’s going to lift you up and then in a sideways… yeah I actually can’t be doing this. My back is really bad right now. We didn’t hear about this. We’re really sorry…
Thank you Will Smith for taking enjoyment right out of your movies, some of which I loved greately. All because of a slap.
