      Don't do like this!!!! May be it is just my situation, but if u flat your curve with ctrl+shift msi can sometimes change your curve automatically (you can have some curve "stairs" at the end). So to be sure just drop your marked zone down and then apply it to let msi afterburner flat it by yourself. I have rtx 4070 super gaming oc gigabyte

      Very good point! RTX 4000 behaves differently when it comes to effective clock. The method used on RTX 3000 I deem a bit superior actually, because you have absolute stability on the lower end of the curve. But it would lose you clock on RTX 4000, so we can’t do it. But in the end, they’re basically the same really :)

    My 4070 super crashes on the efficiency preset if I'm gaming and watching youtube at the same time. Not sure if that's because of the undervolt or my in game settings but either way it's very annoying. Switching to the performance preset, hopfully that solves it.

    Amigo, whats up with 4070ti? I bought one, im happy with temps on stock, but my afterburner saved settings after startup are little changed (afterburner by itself adds a little more voltage, curve is modified), every restart A LITTLE different values), the same with ex 3090 card. Someone said - save settings on full GPU load (like unigine or other program), but anyway afterburner changes A LITTLE that voltage/frequency curve 😢

    Sadly this didn't yield the same results for me on my Asus TUF 4070 Super. 2.97% uplift in performance. Not sure if I did something wrong because your Afterburner shows a static 2745MHz but mine changes and doesn't go above 2520MHz despite applying the curve editor to 2751. I checked on the Timespy results and it's showing at 2730 so I think it worked..

I honestly might try and complain to Asus and try and fight for a replacement regular duo version because there is no mention anywhere that the coolers are this different. Hey bro, one question, shouldn't be opposite when you undervolt gpu(decreasing performace but also temp and voltage) im reading in comments that people got better performance while still using ultra settings

    • @vaskogergo01
      @vaskogergo01 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      When you undervolt a card, you are not decreasing performance. You decrease voltage, at the risk of stability. Cards at stock setting usually hit power limit first, because the curve is set to run ALL OF THE CARDS of the same model with ABSOLUTE stability, they can't risk crashes with lower quality silicon, so the Frequency-Voltage curve is set a little higher, than the cards actually need.
      With lower voltage, you reach that power limit later, with higher clocks.
      So really you just tweaking efficiency. With a more efficient setting, you get more performance from the same power budget.

      My 4070 super is 0.925 2670 mhz, or 0.985 2850 Mhz. If you set the clock too high, potentially it's not hitting the target Mhz, because power limit, thermal limit, or gpu incapable to go that high on that specific voltage point. Set higher voltage potentially if you want to set the gpu that much higher. Or set lower so you save power and stays below the power limit.
