Just a heads up. When changing the 2002/GenIII from 1 to 0. You have to do a write entire for it take effect.
I have an 05 Silverado and brake torque management isn’t under engine>torque management>general like yours is, and under system options it was set to 0. Any thoughts?
How can I buy you a beer?
Great info!!
Thank you sir!
I really need a simplified video on how to understand your data logs and verify that your data is correct.
Have you done a video referencing the tow haul button? Like how to change the function of it?
My 2005 had brake torque management like the 2002. How come, if anybody knows?
Truck still won’t do a burnout after doing this??? Silverado bone stock 4.8 60e
Turn off transmission abuse mode
You need smaller wheels 😂
Awesome! Can you do a video on the spark retard and torque loss% .. I have a built 4l65.. just wondering what difference it would possibly make.
Yes I absolutely can. I’ll put that video out soon.
My application is similar, turbo 6.0 80e in a g body, when we finally figured out how to eliminate the large timing retard and it was able to spin the tires in the burnout box it spun up so fast (7400 rpm) it upshifted to second and third and hurt the overrun clutch in the trans. The next attempt I instructed the driver to just do a second gear burnout and when the tps exceeded 80% it downshifted again into first which is also 4l80 overrun clutch and sprag killer. I have modified the table now so that it starts and holds second but upshifts into third at about 70 mph and holds it until the end of the burnout. I doubt I did it 100% correct but the trans is happier and I've never seen it referenced anywhere else so had to improvise
Awesome Video!! Matt, what version of HPTuners are you using? My brake torque is not showing on 2006 ETC truck. I am in advance mode.
Yours is located under the System Options tab in the same spot as the 1999-2002 trucks. GM moves it around sometime for some reason 🤷♂️
Will it work if u have 4x4
I really need to know more about getting into binary files
Not sure where you are located but I promise you I can build a 4l60e. Much better than stock we build them every day! If your in the middle tennessee area let me know how to contact you
Hey Matt, probly dumb question but will this work for a 4l80e swapped silverado
did this on my 03 tahoe lt 5.3 60r still no burn out
Could you point me in the direction of someone to do a remote tune for stock 4.8 with chopacobra and valve springs shop near me wants 700 for one tune
Thanks for the great info. Can you make a video for burble tune or backfires? Thanks in advance
You can do it in the deceleration fuel cut off.
Hi Matt, Thanks for the great video. My 2002 is one of the os's that has all 0's on the ETC TPS Max. Should we still change 10% and up to 255?
My build is a 1996 Z71 standard cab short bed.LQ9 engine truck norris cam 373 gears and a 2500 to 2800 stall 4l80e trans. Still can’t do a burn out. i’m hoping it’s a bad tune. I found a different tuner in my area that actually has a dyno. Lots of people are saying I need a 3000 stall? I wouldn’t think 200rpms would make that much of a difference.? maybe this video answered my questions. Thanks👍🏼
I have the same problem 6.0 chopacabra cam 2800 stall
@@jrescalera7624 I found out a 2800 stall for a 4l80 was not enough. They are saying to start at 3000 or higher because of gear ratio in the 80e.
Cant wait to fire up my carburetor engine.!! Fuck this shit!!
Do u need to unlock to tune a 2016 gmc Sierra denali 5.3
Richard at Precision Transmission in Texas for those bulletproof 4l60s
Question, i have a email tune can i buy a ho tuners and make adjustments like this to the email tune?
When doing this do I need to do a write entire or write calibration would work?
What about them big body tahoes does it work for them aswell
Is there a changes for altitude that will need to be adjusted for on my gen 4 5.3? I live a mile above sea level
When you gonna post some more videos????
Would this work on my 6.0 with 4l60 .
Thanks Mayt!
Could this be the same for the 2nd Gen Models? I have a 2010 Silverado, and has a slow throttle response as well. Thanks Matt!
I will be doing a Gen 4 video soon.
How about t56 burn out swap file?
Great video I just order my tunner and looking forward to more of your tutorials
What about btm master?
Awesome vid , thanks for sharing info!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good video and tune 👍🏼 thanks
Would this be the same for a 6.0? I had somebody do a tune on mine but believe needs to be adjusted, i have long tube headers with 799 heads . It is a LQ9
Yes
Yes it is the same for all Gen 3 trucks.
@@Matt_Sanford thanks! Anything you recommend doing to mine to maximize the power?
