This is only possible with DNS filtering. uBlock origin and any other browser add-on do not support this functionality. The other day there will be a post new video on the channel "How to block ads on facebook", a small spoiler: sponsored Facebook posts remove only the application AdGuard.
NEVER, NEVER TRY “TOTAL ADBLOCK” FREE TRIAL. For when the very brief free trial is finished Total Adblock will bombard you with their own Pop Up Ad every few seconds unless YOU PAY THEM FOR A SUBSCRIPTION. I describe their action as harassment as I cannot stop it ! You have been warned ………….
yeah see i had an adblocker but it kinda made itself it own pop ups whenever a new tab loaded or if i was loading anything a popup would appear so thank you this one doesn't do that
Sorry to hear about your negative experience. But in your case, there was a problem with the ad blocker you chose, or a virus in the form of your browser cookies.
Jan 9 (2023) my Chrome browser self reloaded and eliminated ABP....if you install it the browser will shut down then reload with ABP disabled. I just use Ublock Origin Lite now and I'm "back in saddle again".
If you ask if there will be a virus because of the adguard installation - no! But there are other ways to get the virus) Just check all installers with virustotal for your own security and there will never be a problem.
is not recommended. the ad will block, but the page download speed will be worse. You can connect custom filters in unlimited numbers to one of the ad blockers if it supports it.
I use ublock origin on an old asus laptop already using firefox. Unfortunately, it only blocks ads on youtube opened in a browser: not the app. I haven't had any issues with it so far. Wonder if it's phone compatible (I have Nokia 6.1 along with duckduckgo, a chrome browser extension that doesn't track you.) Don't think it works for phones or chrome through, to my knowledge, but maybe I should try.
Ublock Origin + Popup blocker + MALsync is the ultimate chrome experience fr
I could kiss you right now. Saved me from constantly closing popup ad tabs
popup blocker?

what resources does adguard use compared to other extensions? thank you
If you consider an application and not an extension, it filters traffic through DNS.
