    Hi great to a see another Ducati V2 owner talking about positive aspects of the bike, rather than just focusing on negatives such as the heat and price. I was never a Ducati fan before the V2 and thought they were good to look at, but not necessarily good to own. But the V2 has changed that view, it is great to own but also great to ride as the power is just right (Not intimidating like a full-on Superbike) and the handling in telepathic (you think where you want to go, and the bike just goes there.). This is a really underappreciated machine because it sits in the shadow of the V4 and some idiots call it underpowered. But real road riders know this bike hits the sweet spot for a road going superbike just like the GSXR 750.

      YES!! I totally agree with everything you said here! Although I'll be honest. Today was my first day putting it in full "Race" mode. Which I was very suprised how aggressive it got (in a good way) including some power wheelies! Anyway thank you for watching and for the feedback! Let me know if there's any other Panigale V2 content I should do!

    Ive had several over the years but its been a while. My last was a Monster in 2015, but I had a 1098 in 2008 and a also had a 916 back in 1999. Every Ducati I've owned was a distinct work of art and yours looks amazing! Good video, enjoy the ride.

    • @ADUSTYLIFE
      @ADUSTYLIFE  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching!! So my most recent bike before the Ducati was a Triumph Street Triple R 675. I loved that bike, however I wanted something that was better at highway speeds. Before that I had a SV650s and when I was 16 I had a Honda Rebel lol! The new Black V2 does look really nice! How has your F3 been?! I've never seen one in person or ever heard any feedback on how those are!

    • @clifflin
      @clifflin 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ADUSTYLIFE I love the F3, handles like a dream but since its the 675 could use a tad more power and some of the tech is getting dated. Have read about numerous build quality issues etc but haven't had any with mine. Only thing that keeps me from jumping to the Ducati V2/V4 is the heat...not sure I want to deal with that during warmer days. Is the near burning worth it??

    Great review. Can you explain why v2 over the v4?

    • @ADUSTYLIFE
      @ADUSTYLIFE  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Great question! There was a few small reasons. A lot of the reviews I read said that thr v2 was a better street bike because it's less aggressive than the v4 however I've never actually ridden a v4 so I can't vouch for that. The main reason however is that in Canada the insurance on the v4 is a big jump and I knew I wasn't going to use that extra power to its full potential!

      Great question ! I'm 6 foot 1 and my longest day of riding was probably 5 or 6 hours this summer. It wasn't bad for long ride at all. At highway speeds the vibration is pretty smooth however if it was slow speed city driving for sure it would have been uncomfortable

    Heat pouring out of exhausts isn't a Ducati problem; it's a catalytic converter problem. The catalytic converter requires very high temperatures to function effectively, so every bike with one cooks whatever body part is closest to it.

    Great to see Canadians doing bike videos! I am looking at possibly going from my Aprilia RS660 to V2, one question i have is if anyone can give me a general idea of passenger comfort? My wife likes the RS 660. The passenger seat is decently comfortable we can get an hour or two in. Has anyone had someone on the back for any length and what were their thoughts? My wife is really tiny, 5' and 100 lbs if that will make any difference. Anyone's thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

      LOL you are right the supra is def not as fast as people always think, but definetly a fun little drift machine! So after reading your comment about the tank I took it for a spin to see if I thought the tank felt slippery. I bet using other tank guards with grip are for sure better, but I don't find it slippery at all, maybe because the film is slightly softer than the paint? Also I usually ride with jeans so not sure if full leather would feel differen't!

    Are you sure your legs getting hotter while in full tuck was only because of your body position? Higher revs makes the engine hotter, you know? 😊
    Generally a bike feels hottest when you go slow (less air cooling the bike) after you’ve ridden a while/ at higher revs (engine gets hotter)

    • @ADUSTYLIFE
      @ADUSTYLIFE  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I totally know what you mean because my last bike was like what you described! Thats why this one felt so strange lol I guess it def could be in my head but I've tried to even really focus on it. Like a few times I rode at the same speed 100kmh and tried to place my body in different riding positions (tuck, not tuck) and the heat felt different! Anyway who knows!

      Exactly my thought when I heard him saying his weight on the wrists at low speed… one of the very first lessons the riding school I went to taught was “SQUEEZE THE TANK”… most of your weight should be supported by your core muscle, especially at low speed. ✊🏼✌🏼
