This is one of the best vlogs I’ve seen on Anne Boleyn, I’m definitely going to get the book. The interview of the author was well-conducted & the author had well-researched & succinct responses to the questions.

Fabulous interview. I learned so much! What an interesting concept of "jousting jealousy." It's like a veil has been lifted, and everything is perfectly clear. Thank you so very much for sharing your insights.

Natalie and Owen Emerson are two of my favorite "Anne" experts. Their willingness to take Anne as a "whole human" if you will is refreshing. The reinterpreted Hever Castle is something I've got to see someday! 🎉📖🥂🏰

Such an excellent discussion! Thank you for making this available to us to learn and enjoy! I am curious if any of the other countries bought this vision of 'Henry Vlll as a "merciful prince" as regards beheading Anne with a sword? Thank you again!!

I would imagine it would be difficult for anyone to see this as "merciful"! Thank you so much for listening!

I think Henry was ruled by his masculine ego. I think what ended his love for Katherine of A was when she sent him the bloody cape of the king of Scotland. She had been successful in battle while he had not in France. Soon afterwards he started his open romance with Bessie blout which continued for years. That must have killed Katherine. She suffered a slow death at court bless her. She loved Henry to her dying day.

The other monarchs saw what Henry did. Imo they see an erratic crazy. They are not standing up for Anne. Imo they turned on them. Plus they saw Anne spending money on clothes and redecorating, while they are fighting the Ottomans. There was a real threat from the Ottomans.

The Tudors series shows Henry Norris knocked Henry off the horse. Those men also might have sons. This is an awesome explanation. This expert understands it.

    After killing wife #2.
    Spent the afternoon playing tennis

I am reading the book. When the monks were being murdered, neither Anne, the Boleyns, the 5 men said a word. Then there wasn't anyone to speak out when it happened to them. If I would have seen Henry do that, I would have fled overseas. if I had means. Reginald Pole was smart. One of the other things, Catherine and Mary had royal blood. These people believe in Divine rights of kings. They will not give up because they think they have divine right, and Anne does not.
