🇭🇲🦘 Lovely interview with historian, author and all-round Tudor expert, Claire Ridgway. Claire's favourite Tudor heroine being Queen Anne Boleyn.
So really, no one better to 'talk Tudor' with than Claire. Especially with her vast knowledge of the Boleyn family and Hever Castle. cont...
RECOMMENDATION: I highly recommend anyone thinking of listening to this interview, to do so. You won't be disappointed! You'll learn so much. cont...
I very much enjoyed listening to you both 'talk Tudor'. ... "Thank you!" 💗👑👍

It seems incredible that it is termed an execution instead of a murder. An unjust planned murder.

I actually have been following Claire for a few years now, on her YT channel. I am relatively new to this channel. Claire had helped me so much in my quest for Tudor knowledge.

O Death rock me asleep.... Anne you have no idea how many women you inspire hundreds of years later. "By daily proof you shall me find to be to you both loving and kind. "❤ Thank You Claire and to our host. The thing that inspires me most is how coherent she was. She never lost her wits and she knew it was wrong, false and unjust. Her letters were impressive.

Given the power she wielded when she eventually became Queen, I wonder why Elizabeth the first did not erect some kind of memorial to her mother?

because Anne was still considered a "traitor" and also i dont think Elizabeth would want to anger Catholics even more

Did Anne’s parents believe the charges for both of their children or did they recognize that it was a rigged court?
