Most of these retro remixes sound better than the modern originals, in my opinion.
This group is making me realise that's it's not modern lyrics I have an issue with, it's modern music.
These guys take those modern lyrics and turn them into something amazing!
There's very little originality any more ... most modern popular tracks are written by the same small group of people with very little to no contribution at all from the singers / bands who perform the tracks. It's a manufacturing process, a production line of soul less tunes with catchy beats which exist purely to make money.

Yes, I agree with this. many modern songs have the best lyrics, but it was overshadowed by the melodies, beats, etc that destroyed the song's intention.
