Amazing energy in the interview. Always a pleasure to hear technical details from people who are super enthusiastic about it. Also, I'm always grateful for people who share not just the tech behind their sound, but detail their thinking to let others find their own sound too. Top marks. ✌
At 3:25 he says ‘strings, he uses (13 to 74 gauge) (13 gauge is High E) (lowest string F# , 74 gauge.) He likes (light gauge strings). Two things wrong with this . First is the low string (F#) Low F# string 74 gauge is for 8 string guitars). On 7 string Guitars the lowest note is B string. I don’t understand, if he likes (lighter gauge strings) yet High E string is 13 gauge?! Maybe I’m mistaken, but I’ve NEVER heard of a (13 gauge high E string to be LIGHT gauge??! Is he referring to an eight string guitar?? The only explanation he’s thinking about 8 string guitar.? LMFAO!
he is saying he likes the lightest gauges possible for the tuning he is in (drop f#) without the strings being floppy. they are not light compared to a standard tuned guitar, but they are light compared to other guitars tuned to drop f#.

And I thought I was kicking ass with just an amp and guitar. This dude is a guitarist, a DJ, a vocalist, and a sound tech. He's awesome!
Dude is easily one of the best guitarist in metalcore the last 5 years
Witt taking selfies while James goes into technical guitar details is so funny, classic lead singer behavior

We tried to get them on their recent tour and didn't have any luck. We'll keep trying. It's ultimately up to them, not us though.

Would never know it from hearing him speak 🤔
Decent impact to get black eyes like that!

You need to retitle the video. His name is James not Elijah.
His name is Elijah James Barnett. He says his name is James in the video, but goes by Elijah on Instagram. 🤷
Hope he got some sleep.
Has always looked like that
Dude hasnt slept in 20 yrs! Racoon Man 🤣🦝

It’s also a 25.5 scale guitar, so definitely needs some extra help to keep tension
What's with this dudes eyes?
My man butchered that Javier Reyes guitar. 😢
Bro hasn't slept since they invented the guitar.
😂😂😂😂😂
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I miss when these guys wrote good music. Now its just generic sleep token shit because these guys fried there minds on drugs…
