Since I've been watching your channel I have put together a system like yours but instead I use the CMX 1978 guitar pedal with the r zoom20r I run it through my MPCX or my machine plus and it sounds awesome but I have a question for you. If you use the preamps for the mixers in the zoom or 20, do you still use the sounds and the mPCx like the mother ducker or anything else and

Do you happen to use or know much about Overbridge? I'm trying to find a resource to figure out how to record automation with Overbridge and MPC. I have an Analog Heat + FX and am using it as a plugin in thr DAW and it works. However, it's advertised Overbridge does automation, so I've been looking. Thansk for your video. BEfore I take a MPC one, I've an old audio interface Zoom R16 with 8 physical input. I've tried to plug it in MPC one via USB; It works. I walk slowly in MPC wolrd, but it is so much pleasure to do music this way. Thanks for our advices and tutos. Take Care.

Would be awesome to have an extra boost with the sound coming straight out of the MPC, An Extra punch never hurts. Even with that extra punch, I would still be running my signal through some of these pieces since it has a unique character to each individual channel I sent through it.
@@malobeats True ,I also agree to finalize the mix .....that's True productions ,but with hype circulating around Akai they need to compliment their excellent work flow,the total package is necessary especially for the Standalone ,away from the studio ...that 2500$ price SE your Mods is revved at 5000$ to complete is steep, talk to Akai for the community, it's a hot topic now..thanks again

The hologram microcosm is a grain delay/repeater/reverb pedal. You should try midi syncing it to your mpc.

what is your opinion about elecktron Heat? Now Fx+ is out, do you think it's a good complement to mpc? do you use it with final box?
Absolutely, my Ana like heat is pretty much attached to my MPC’s 24/7. It really adds a unique punch to your overall sound of the MPC. I wanted to pick up the new analog heat FX but they’re sold out at the moment.
@@malobeats I have this idea, here the question is to export steam to steam to apollo twin X, where I only have two inputs, recording in real time with the luna, recording the instrument in a stereo Out file is not my idea, I like to have everything separate, do you think it might work anyway, I had the Sp404mk2 I ended up selling the Flavor Pro as a standalone, it gives me practically everything, I still have the rc color, the Uad compressors sound pretty good to me, I ended up selling them too. .

They have plug-ins that would do something similar to it. It just depends on what you prefer, the plugging route within the MPC or using some of these pieces..

So you make an awesome sounding beat that’s 4 bars, give or take, what then? I know some people mix it up by taking out the drums and putting them back, but do people make like a B-section or something? Do you make these into 3 minute songs for Spotify? UAD is a plugin platform of UA (Universal Audio)

I use Microcosm with more space between notes and beats. Here it just does much less than it is capable of...
Nice video bro and yes guitar pedals are a very budget friendly way to add more color to the overall sound of the song itself. Try it on vocal samples and see how you like it. Great video my man! Keep it up 👍🏾
Excellent video. Have you noticed any latency issues when you run only some of your sounds through external gear? Granted delays and reverbs hide it well sometimes, but compressors might not.
Great video Malo. I like the thought of adding external gear to produce a different sound. It makes me want to go back to analog gear.

I just ordered an Analog Heat MK2. I own a bunch of different equipment, but I basically bought it for my MPC X SE that I just got. I'm just not exactly sure how I should use it. I see that it's an interface, so I'm not sure if I should use it as an interface, or if I should just run it into my mixer like an effects unit. In my head, it seem that running the sound through a USB cable, doesn't really make sense to me when going for a beefier analog sound. I have a 4 track tape machine, but I also have a Tascam Model 16, which ends up turning into a digital signal anyway. I'm thinking that I can just run the MPC through it, into the Tascam, and then track it with the Tascam.
Put it on the effects send/return. Using an effect on the send return gives you the ability to use the effect on each channel independently and you will still have all your individual tracks rather than running your whole beat through it which will leave you with only a single stereo track.
