Got Serato when Stems came out. Pretty cool. And they seem a great company, very engaged with the community, providing chances and legit looking for feedback to improve. I hope they make a controller for the Studio. That Analog Heat sounds dope. Been thinking about pulling the trigger on one
Thanks for this video. I didn't know that there was a free version o serato. It is probably limited, but it's a good way to discover this software. Thanks for tips ! Take Care.
Dope workflow… Great for getting rare drum breaks from everywhere also! I do the exact same thing. Bruh your face when you find that perfect loop … I get the same expression 😂👊🏾💯
Yo, thank you so so much. I’ve had a few people mention this in the comments and I love listening to other different versions of the same sampleflip. This is awesome. Appreciate you showing some love and dropping by the comments brother.
Serato Stems is a decent piece of software. But when it comes to stems separation, so far the best software that I have come across is RipX DeepAudio. It is simply mind-blowing how clear the separation of the stems sounds.
There’s apps for iPhone and android like Moises as well as Koala and DJay which all have different stem separation options for the people here who sample off their phones in case anyone was wondering. Air kill filter in the MPC helps as well to keep sounds from bleeding over after separating.
Aa always....FIRE CONTENT bro!!!!!! I'm learning a lot from your youtube channel!!! Quic question: how do you have Serato Stems routed to your MPC to record the sample from serato to your MPC?
Hey brother, thank you so much for the love and support. I just have the outputs of my interface/computer going into the inputs of my MPC for sampling.
You nailed it, that’s how I’m doing it here in my studio. I actually had a lot of people asking about the set up so I will do a follow video showing exactly how I have everything routed for this. Thank you for dropping by.
If you hook the 404 directly to the PC and start using it as a controller/interface and cookup on studio, I doubt you’ll ever look back. Then when you get a beat knocked out, you can record it to an audio track in Studio and get live FX out of the 404 and have a live sounding beat. Prob how you were used to recording into Ableton. Or if you just wanted to hit some samples, stems, or drums, with some SP sauce you can record directly into studio, then chop those sounds up and quickly get a beat going. You can also chain the mpc to the 404, with the usbc going to the compute and sample, chop on all 3 pieces of equipment. Have an entire loop of sounds that can also be recorded into a Daw
Niceeeeee, What's would be the icing on the cake if Akai created their own stem separator???? Vs the Serato ,would like to hear your opinion on it....Thanks

Hey man, thank you so much for this request and absolutely. I just have the output of my interface/computer going straight into my MPC for sampling. If you do not have an interface, you can use the headphone jack of your computer or if you have the interface connected to computer just come out of the interface straight into the MPC. 🤜🏽🤛🏽🙏🏽
seen this at cookin souls video first time and was blown away. But honestly I will never use it because I don't wanna carry my laptop around the whole time. Maybe Akai take a shot and release a plugin like this. It seems like that there are only different filters layered depending on the velocity or is that some Ai thing?
Dude, I know what you mean. I don’t use my computer much but I had to give this a shot and it worked out grate. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE AKAI ADD STEMS TO AN UPDATE OR A NEW MPC 🔥🔥🔥
Fire video!! Anyone know if it’s possible or how to setup routing where I can: Use serato- chop with my MPC but also have it hooked up to my model 12 mixer? I feel like it’s 3 separate steps\connections 😕
Do u have to have the mpc software hook up to use this? Cause I only work in standalone. Also I don’t see serato stems on the website is in the serato studio?
They would need to up the CPU and RAM to even consider it dude. My laptop has 20 i7 Threads and 32GB of RAM and it still takes a few minutes to process a three minute file into stems with RipX, Serato or RX10.
I think it’s dope that you stick to making beats and working on the MPC versus the computer… keeping it old school. Serato Stems is a game changer but that’s using 1 too many softwares just to make music. Any records you suggest for sampling?
Oh man, I’m sorry to hear about your laptop, but I did hear some people mentioning that there are some apps like “Moses” in the App Store for our iPhones that works just as good so I would definitely look into it and try it out
Serato Dev doesn't listen to professional level users, we need to be able to record MIDI (at least 8 tracks, no 'measure' limit) and VST3 compatibility please!!!
