@@Shiny_Hunter_Red Definitely! Quick question, do you know how to stop the Rosalina menu coming up when pressing B with a 3DS game running and input redirection is inactive?
@@shinycollector7 Right above ‘Start InputRedirection’ in the Rosalina menu there is an option to change menu combo. My only guess as to why that may be happening is maybe you accidentally changed the combo to just B.
cool video man, just subscribed. the way it’s all set up is dope. i’m starting my gameboy modding journey, maybe i’ll do some shiny hunting while I’m at it

this video surprised me with how good and informative it is with light humor here and there. My only input would be try sounding more enthusiastic about what your talking about to really grab the viewers attention and keep them watching but anyway great video!
Really cool setup and great vid explaining how to put it all together. I really want a wireless setup for hunting old Pokémon games but with how expensive it is and how broke I am I’ll probably just have to continue manually hunting lmfao
@@Gutswitdaboof710 Yeah as cool as this setup is it really isn’t practical money wise. If you really want to you could mod one at a time and save up for others
@ true and it’s definitely something I have in mind but it’s also permanently modding a system so I would want to do it with any of my childhood stuff so that In itself is another dilemma for me
2:33 “I took it off to save battery” You can also map one of the macro buttons to SLEEP which will completely turn off both screens to decrease battery use. Then you tap on the bottom screen to turn them back on
hey i modded 4 DS lites and they all went well but one... the start and select buttons arent registering for some reason. but my biggest issue is not being to use the r4 card and cartridge. i bought a brand new r4 card, do i have to set it up before i drop the software you use on the card? it says "touch! Bomberman Land Nintendo". im so close to being able to hunt like you do yet i cant move past the software working. :(
Once you have both the R4 cart and the GBA cartridge from inside gadgets, you'll need a DS Lite to play both at once. Then copy their software to the root of your R4 cart like you would any other rom. I hope that works. Maybe try looking up some R4 tutorial videos or try another R4 cartridge, but that could be pricey. As for the modded DS, start and select are pretty important for soft resetting. But you can still use it for wild encounter hunting. Good luck! I hope it all works out for you.
@@snakesockGato So the website I used to learn how to do the macros is in the description below, “DS Transmitter Cart Setup”. Looking back though I should have gone more in depth in this video about that.
You didn't need to hide the ip address. Local ips are only used within your network. Your public ip also doesn't follow the same scheme as the local ip.
this man is the reason gameboy games are $200 lol
Naw us prices are just goofy
U might be right
@@shinyhunternono9962 you're right I was looking at prices in other countries like Japan and Germany and the US is so expensive

Such a cool setup! I didn’t realize input redirection with a modded 3DS/2DS was so easy. Super useful to know!
