I am envious. It is important to lock the log down well and to ensure the whole carriage can not jump off its rails in the evet of a jam.

Brings back memories from 34 years ago when I first started working on a similar mill. Find a way to firmly hold your log. If there is a binding on the blade it will fly. And it will be bad for you if it does. Nice to see you making saw dust!
